This interactive presentation for kids and parents will help you prepare your child to ride the Regional Transportation District’s (RTD) buses and trains. Practicing compassion can strengthen our sense of connection and help build community. By expanding our hearts and wishing all beings to be free from suffering, we increase our ability to process grief and trauma, to heal and experience joy. This session includes a guided compassion practice and time for group discussion. Led by Holly Gayley, Associate Professor of Buddhist Studies and Co-Director of the Tibet Himalaya Initiative at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
