2nd Division and Under Singles and Pairs

Great bowls at Osborne Park

A busy Easter weekend of bowls at Osborne Park Bowling Club saw some great bowls played as the champions in the Bethanie Group Men’s 2nd Division and Under Singles and Pairs were crowned. In the Singles Dudley Park member Graham Miller (pictured) took the final 21-13 over Steve Mulhall from Safety Bay. Miller survived some tough encounters on his way to the final which included a 21-18 win over the Pairs winner Jeremy Thomas and also a thrilling 17-16 victory over a regular finalist in this event in Joe Rollnik. In the Pairs the composite side of Jeremy Thomas from Yanchep and Gareth Hill from Fremantle combined to claim victory in a very tight affair. They defeated Victoria Park Carlisle side of Dave Florence and Robbie Johnson 19-16. Congratulations to the champions and well done to Osborne Park Bowling Club who run this event. Thank you to the sponsors Bethanie Group and all those whose competed.
