A big baby shower THE B 3 MaterniTea Party, scheduled for May 2 at the Talk of the Town, Jamaica Pegasus hotel, is a very big baby shower where expectant mothers will convene to enjoy games, great gifts, healthy and tasty food, along with information on what to expect in the months ahead. The event will be hosted by Dr Michael
Abrahams and Imani Duncan-Price. Guests can expect to learn about maintaining healthy pregnancies from a physical and psychological standpoint. B 3’s team ObGyn, Dr Thea Davis, will be on hand for the fifth year running to provide mommies-to-be with critical advice on what to expect during their pregnancies and beyond. There will be fitness demos, styling advice and much like a traditional baby shower, lots of gifts and giveaways. Each expectant mother at the MaterniTea Party will have the opportunity to win a complete nursery for her and her baby, sponsored by generous contributors including Kidz Komfort Furniture; an all-Jamaican furniture company specialising in children’s furniture, Spaces Jamaica, Therapedic Mattress, Josephs, Babybop Kids Store, Huggies, Johnson’s Baby, Smart Eggs, Gerber and NCB Insurance Company. Once again this year, the B 3 event is supported with giveaways from international brands Skip Hop, Pearhead, Ubbi and Three Lollies, popularly known in North America for nausea-relief products for pregnant women.
