WELCOME TO THE
Rising Stars Programme BPS World are resourcing* experts – put simply we find great people for businesses around the world. What is Rising Stars? We created our Rising Stars Programme to take the raw talent out there – that’s you the entrepreneurs, the go-getters, the driven individuals – and give them a structured programme to build their skills and give them the foundations for a future in the recruitment industry. Once you complete the programme, you will receive industry recognised qualifications.
For example, our apprentice resourcers will receive a Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Recruitment Resourcing as well as a Level 2 Certificate in Recruitment Resourcing. Who are BPS World? Who are we? That’s a good question. We are a global resourcing partnership, focussed on the attraction, engagement and retention of talent. Our greatest asset is our people. We have been nominated by the REC (governing body for our industry) as “Best Company To Work For” and we’ve had apprentices nominated for “Apprentice Of The Year”

There is no substitute for the achievement of results
Do what you say you’re going to do.
Ideally we want 5 GCSEs at grade C (5) or above or equivalent – but we have kept our criteria open! So if you are aged 16-24, a recent school or college leaver and interested in recruitment, then this is the place for you!
WHAT’S THE
Interview Process?
If you’re selected, we will organise a first stage video call. This is a chance for both of us to gauge a little about each other and ask as many questions as we both need. If you are shortlisted then we will ask you to complete a PPA and GIA assessment*. We will then inform you if you have been shortlisted to take part in an interview day – sounds daunting – it isn’t we promise – it’s just a chance for a few more people in the business to meet you and for you to get a broader view on the company and what it can offer you. Then the real fun begins!!!

How do I join the programme? We want to know what makes you tick – what gets you up in the morning and what drives you? Tell us more about yourself, by sending us a CV outlining your skills and ambitions for the future. Of course if you want to do something different, like send in a video application then go ahead – creative minds are welcome!
*JARGON BUSTERS WHAT IS RESOURCING? Resourcing is the complete cycle of hiring either an individual or team of people into a business. This means you will be responsible for finding the perfect candidate, taking them through the interview process and placing them into their dream role - that’s a big impact on someones life!
Benefits We know it isn’t all about the money, which is why we offer a number of different benefits available to you from day 1. This includes monthly massages, a car valeting service and a kitchen stocked full of fresh fruit (and the occasional biscuit!) for you to help yourself to.
WHAT IS A PPA/ GIA? The PPA (Personal Profile Assessment) takes only 8 minutes to complete and tells us a little about you and allows us to ask you some great questions. We can of course share your profile with you – we think you will be amazed at how insightful it can be! The GIA (General Intelligence Assessment) takes about 35mins to complete and measures your mental horsepower. This is timed and gives us an indication of what your response to training will be. The GIA will assess you on reasoning, perceptual speed, number speed and accuracy, spatial visualisation and word meaning.
Once you’ve passed your probation you are also eligible to receive money towards your gym membership, a mobile phone allowance and discounts off some of your favourite brands (... ok, so it is a little bit about the money!).
