King Magnifico refuses, viewing the wish as a threat to his rule. Asha defies the king, keeping her wish for herself and instead making it upon a star, which then manifests in physical

Late Laughs
The Late Show With Stephen Colbert
Even though her boy [Travis Kelce] was angry, Tay-Tay still had fun. At one point, she was caught chugging her beer on the Jumbotron.
... Then the NFL tweeted her beer chug, accompanied simply with the word “Icon.”
If that’s what makes you an icon, then my Aunt Rita is an icon-a-holic.
Last Thursday [Feb. 8], we finally got the report from the special council investigating Joe Biden’s retention of classified documents. [Robert] Hur’s investigation found insufficient evidence to charge the president with any crime, but the report did contain one bombshell. After a 15-month investigation, Special Council Hur has determined Joe Biden is old.
Tomorrow [Feb. 14] is Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent, which this year [2024] falls on Valentine’s Day, which explains why one of the most popular gifts for Catholic lovers is an empty box with a note [saying,] “You gave up chocolate for Lent.”
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
I want to say congrats to the Kansas City Chiefs on winning Super Bowl LVIII. ... Last night’s [Feb. 11] game was over four hours long. ... The game was so long that people were drunk in the first quarter and hungover by the trophy presentation.
During a rally over the weekend [Feb. 10-11], former president [Donald] Trump said that if European
countries don’t pay the U.S. more money, he might encourage Russia to invade them. And that was only the third-craziest thing he said during the rally.
Today [Feb. 14] is Valentine’s Day, and if you forgot, don’t worry. There’s a good chance President Biden did, too.
Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Donald Trump is throwing a Hail Mary to try to get the trial related to the mess he made on January 6th moved until after the election. ... His lawyers are arguing that in the future, presidents might hesitate to act if they’re worried about being criminally charged. I mean, they’re right. What kind of world are we leaving for our children if future presidents have to second guess themselves every time they incite a mob of angry, deluded metal workers to barge into Congress and bear spray the police?
According to Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee, Russia wants to put a nuclear weapon in space. ... They say that the nuke would not be used against people but rather to take out the satellites that control our internet. In other words, they’re going to hit us where it really hurts — right in the porn. ... Do the Russians really need nuclear weapons to disrupt our satellite
connection? I can’t even get ESPN when it rains.
Late Night With Seth Meyers
At a campaign stop yesterday [Feb. 11], presidential candidate Nikki Haley claimed that President [Joe] Biden will not be the Democratic nominee in 30 days. Take it from her, the woman who will not be the Republican nominee in 30 days.
Presidential candidate Nikki Haley told reporters yesterday [Feb. 12] that when former president [Donald] Trump goes off his teleprompter, that’s him speaking from the heart. Or more likely, he just spotted a long word coming up.
Elton John is auctioning off hundreds of items from his Atlanta home, which include artwork, a pinball machine and a grand piano. And that was all just one outfit.
While speaking last night [Feb. 14] at a rally for former president Trump, Republican Senator Tim Scott said that he told his fiancée that despite it being Valentine’s Day, he had to introduce Trump because it was a “chance to introduce the next president of the United States.” And she just couldn’t stay mad at him, because she’s not real.

“Damsel” (2024)
Make your own destiny with the fantasy adventure film “Damsel,” making its debut Friday, March 8, on Netflix. The film stars Millie Bobby Brown (“Enola Holmes,” 2020) as Elodie, a dutiful damsel who agrees to marry a handsome prince. But Elodie’s hopes of a fairytale soon shatter around her when she learns that the whole proposal was a trap, with the royal family planning to use her as a sacrifice to repay an ancient debt. Thrown into a cave with a fire-breathing dragon, Elodie learns who she truly is as she uses nothing but her wits and her will to live. From director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (“28 Weeks Later,” 2007), “Damsel” is written by Dan Mazeau (“Wrath of the Titans,” 2012). Robin Wright (“Forrest Gump,” 1994), Angela Bassett (“9-1-1”), Nick Robinson (“Love, Victor”), Brooke Carter (“The Peripheral”), Ray Winstone (“Sexy Beast,” 2000) and Shohreh Aghdashloo (“The Expanse”) also star.
“Full Swing” - Season 2
Golf fans have the opportunity to peek behind the scenes of the sport once more when “Full Swing” returns to Netflix with its second season Wednesday, March 6. This immersive documentary series follows a diverse group of professional golfers — both returning favorites and some new faces — on and off the course through all the triumphs and challenges of a relentless competition season. As they take on the non-stop, high-stakes schedule of the PGA Tour, cameras follow the golfers, their families and their teams as they train for and play in The Players, The Masters, the PGA Championship, the U.S. Open, The Open Championship and FedEXCup Playoffs. Across the series’ eight episodes, fans see what it takes to succeed at the highest level of men’s professional golf. Plus, this season promises some even more dramatic stakes, with an “unexpected proposed agreement between the PGA Tour, the DP World Tour and the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, backers of LIV Golf, as well as the Ryder Cup, a biennial event, putting golf on the world stage with a team competition consisting of the best players from the U.S. and Europe” (per Netflix). This season features appearances from some of the biggest names in the sport alongside some relative newcomers, including Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Dustin Johnson, Rickie Fowler, Tom Kim, Joel Dahmen, Matt Fitzpatrick, Alex Fitzpatrick, Wyndham Clark, Keegan Bradley and Justin Rose, along with Ryder Cup captains Luke Donald and Zach Johnson.
“Extraordinary” - Season 2
Learn to make the most of an ordinary life when Season 2 of “Extraordinary” premieres Wednesday, March 6, on Hulu. From creator Emma Moran (“Have I Got News for You”) and “Killing Eve” executive producers Lee Morris, Charles Dawson and Sally Woodward, the series is set in a universe where everyone over the age of 18 develops a unique superpower. Everyone, apparently, except Jen (Máiréad Tyers, “Belfast,” 2021), who, already in her mid-20s, feels like she’s been completely left behind while she waits for her own power. Now, the new season picks back up with Jen on her journey as she enrolls at the power clinic, hoping they can finally help her figure out what her elusive power is supposed to be. Meanwhile, her “ex-cat, now-boyfriend Jizzlord [Luke Rollason, “Jack,” 2021] has had an unexpected revelation about his past, and Kash [Bilal Hasna, “Layla,” 2024] and Carrie [Sofia Oxenham, “Poldark”] are attempting to be totally mature and dignified about their breakup, which is not easy when they’re still living under the same roof” (per Disney+). As Jen and her friends deal with the trials and tribulations of making it on their own as young adults, Jen continues trying to be OK with her ordinary self. Also starring Siobhán McSweeney (“Derry Girls”), Robbie Gee (“Snatch,” 2000), Julian Barratt (“The Mighty Boosh”), Rosa Robson (“Buffering”), Kwaku Mills (“The Trouble With Jessica,” 2024) and Derek Jacobi (“Murder on the Orient Express,” 2017), “Extraordinary” is directed by Toby MacDonald (“The Duchess”) and Jennifer Sheridan (“Rules of the Game”).
“Queens”
Explore the stories of some of the Earth’s most powerful female leaders when “Queens,” the new limited series from National Geographic, premieres Tuesday, March 5, on Hulu (also streaming on Disney+). Fierce, smart and resilient, the matriarchs and female leaders featured in “Queens” come from all around the world as cameras capture their unique stories. “Helmed by a female-led production team from around the world — groundbreaking in the natural history space — the seven-part series leverages cutting-edge technology to reveal surprising insights into how females in the natural world rise to power, often relying on cooperation and wisdom over brute strength to get ahead” (per National Geographic). Narrated by Angela Bassett (“Black Panther,” 2018), “Queens” takes a deeper look into the family structures of animals, including hyenas, elephants, ring-tailed lemurs, insects, primates and orcas. Sophie Darlington (“Our Planet”) and Justine Evans (“Great Migrations”) are series directors of photography, while Chloe Sarosh (“Earth From Space”) serves as showrunner and writer.
“NHL Big City Greens Classic”
Following last year’s first-of-its-kind live, animated presentation of a hockey game (played between the Washington Capitals and the New York Rangers), the Green family return to take their rink-side seats for another “NHL Big City Greens Classic,” airing Saturday, March 9, across ESPN+, Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney+. This year, the family will comment on a matchup between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Boston Bruins, telecast simultaneously as the “regular” game airs live, on ABC and ESPN+. This alternate, kidfriendly presentation of the game will feature “realtime virtually recreated animation of NHL players and teams modeled after characters on Disney Channel’s hit animated series,” according to ESPN, with Cricket “coaching” the Penguins and Gramma “coaching” the Bruins. Meanwhile, the ESPN commentators will be equipped with virtual reality headsets and motion capture equipment, allowing the trio to immerse themselves in the colorful world of Times Circle, where the animated game will take place.
“Cinderella” (2015)
A dream is a wish your heart makes, and sometimes, those dreams do come true. The 2015, live-action remake of the beloved Disney film, “Cinderella,” is available to stream on Disney+ Friday, March 8. This Oscar nominated movie stars Lily James (“The Iron Claw,” 2023) as the titular princess-to-be, who is joined by the likes of Cate Blanchett (“Carol,” 2015), Helena Bonham Carter (“The King’s Speech,” 2010), Richard Madden (“Game of Thrones”) and more as the fairytale’s stellar cast of characters. Starting with a “once upon a time,” this classic tale follows a young, orphaned girl, Cinderella (James), who is kept at the mercy of her cruel stepmother and tormented by her nasty stepsisters. With a little bit of help from her fairy godmother (and just a dash of magic), Cinderella’s life changes forever when she finds true love. With courage, a determined spirit and some help from her friends, Cinderella seizes her happily ever after. Directed by Kenneth Branagh (“A Haunting in Venice,” 2023), the film features a screenplay by Chris Weitz (“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” 2016).
“Kids Are Growing Up: A Story About a Kid Named LAROI” (2024)
From Amazon MGM Studios, OBB Pictures and director Michael D. Ratner (“Justin Bieber: Seasons”) comes the newly-released documentary “Kids Are Growing Up: A Story About a Kid Named LAROI,” available now on Prime Video. The documentary follows Australian rapper Charlton Howard — who is known by his stage name, the Kid LAROI. LAROI has seen a meteoric rise to superstardom, having gone from a relative unknown to selling out his hometown arena over the course of three years. The film covers everything from the 20-year-old rapper’s upbringing in Australia to his most recent success. Featuring interviews with Post Malone (“Sunflower”), Justin Bieber (“Peaches”) and the Kid LAROI himself, viewers get an in-depth look at how LAROI deals with being an adult, navigating fame, struggling with mental health and mourning the death of his mentor, Juice WRLD (“Lucid Dreams”). In addition to Ratner, “Kids Are Growing Up: A Story About a Kid Named LAROI” is produced by Kfir Goldberg (“The 5th Quarter”), Arlen Konopaki (“Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil”) and Scott Ratner (“Mountain Queen: The Summits of Lhakpa Sherpa,” 2023).
“How to Train Your Dragon” (2010)
Go back to the beginning of DreamWorks’ dragoncentric computer animated film franchise with 2010’s “How to Train Your Dragon,” available now on Prime Video. The first entry in this venerable series voice stars Jay Baruchel (“BlackBerry,” 2023) as Hiccup, the only resident of a dragon-slaying village without the instinct to kill the creatures. When Hiccup comes face-to-face with an injured dragon, he decides to nurse it back to health rather than kill it, and the two quickly become friends. However, when Hiccup’s father, village chieftain Stoick the Vast (Gerard Butler, “300,” 2006), finds out about this unlikely friendship, he captures the dragon that Hiccup names “Toothless” to lead the village’s Vikings to the dragon’s nest. Before his father can start an all-out war with the dragons, Hiccup and his friends need to show the villagers that they can live in harmony with the dragons. Written by William Davies (“Flushed Away,” 2006) and directors Dean DeBlois (“Lilo & Stitch,” 2002) and Chris Sanders (“Mulan,” 1998), “How to Train Your Dragon” also voice stars Craig Ferguson (“Winnie the Pooh,” 2011), America Ferrera (“Ugly Betty”), Jonah Hill (“Moneyball,” 2011), Christopher Mintz-Plasse (“Superbad,” 2007), Kristen Wiig (“Bridesmaids,” 2011), Ashley Jensen (“Extras”) and David Tennant (“Broadchurch”).
