The Fall Guy
Following a nearly career-ending injury on the set of his last film, stuntman Colt Seavers (Gosling) works as a valet for a small Mexican restaurant. He is called back to work by film producer Gail Meyer (Waddingham), who informs him that his ex-girlfriend Jody Moreno (Blunt) is directing her first film, a space opera called
“Metalstorm,” and wants him to participate in the production. When Colt arrives on set, he learns that his presence was not actually requested by Jody and she, in fact, still harbors resentment towards him as a result of their breakup. Colt stays when Gail reveals that the lead star, Tom Ryder (Taylor-Johnson), has gone missing, and the already
over-budget production is in jeopardy of being canceled. Colt is tasked with tracking down Tom, a mission which he agrees to in hopes of redeeming himself to Jody.

“The Decameron” - Season 1
Don’t forget your party favor for the 14th century’s wildest party. Loosely inspired by Giovanni Boccaccio’s collection of stories, the historical comedy-drama “The Decameron” premieres Thursday, July 25, on Netflix. Described by Netflix as a “wine-soaked sex romp set in the Italian countryside,” the series, set in 1348, finds Europe in the grips of the Black Death. Hoping to escape the pandemic, a group of nobles in Florence escape to a grand villa in the country to wait out the worst of the bubonic plague in the lap of luxury. But, as the veils of polite society come down, a fight for survival reveals the true nature of the characters in the villa. Created by Kathleen Jordan (“Teenage Bounty Hunters”), the series stars Tanya Reynolds (“Sex Education”) as Licisca, a servant; Jessica Plummer (“The Girl Before”) as Filomena, a spoiled oddball from a noble family; Douggie McMeekin (“Harlots”) as the rich and insufferable Tindaro; Amar Chadha-Patel (“Willow”) as Dioneo, a physician; Lou Gala (“Julia”) as the Godobsessed Neifile; Karan Gill (“Ladhood”) as Panfilo, the son of a prominent political family; Zosia Mamet (“Girls”) as Pampinea, another rich and insufferable noblewoman; Saoirse-Monica Jackson (“Derry Girls”) as Misia, Pampinea’s devoted servant; Tony Hale (“Arrested Development”) as Sirisco, the steward of the villa; and Leila Farzad (“I Hate Suzie”) as Stratilia, the stalwart housekeeper of the villa.
“The Dragon Prince” - Season 6
The mystery of Aaravos (Erik Dellums, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim) takes to the stars when all nine episodes in the sixth and penultimate season of popular animated series “The Dragon Prince” premiere Friday, July 26, on Netflix. The series follows two princes, Callum (Jack De Sena, “Avatar: The Last Airbender”) and Ezran (Sasha Rojen, “The Flash”), as they team with an elven assassin named Rayla (Paula Burrows, “The Dangers of Online Dating”) to bring to peace to the land. After retrieving the giant pearl that contains Aaravos’ prison at the end of the previous season, Callum, Ezran, Rayla and their companions take a step back to consider their next course of action. In the meantime, Claudia’s (Racquel Belmonte, “Heart of Dance,” 2013) sanity rapidly deteriorates, while Janai (Rena Anakwe, “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic”) copes with Miyana’s (Cecilly Day, “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist”) betrayal. Created by Aaron Ehasz (“Avatar: The Last Airbender”) and Justin Richmond (Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception).
“Dress My Tour” - Season 1
Shoot for the moon (and for some Hollywood stars) with the new competition series “Dress My Tour,” premiering Tuesday, July 23, on Hulu. Hosted by model and actress Kate Upton (“The Other Woman,” 2014), the series brings 11 aspiring fashion designers to the forefront, with cameras following along through their “raw, emotional journey of creating stunning fashion pieces worthy of the music world’s biggest names” (per Hulu). Giving viewers a peak into the fast-paced, unpredictable industry, “Dress My Tour” challenges the contestants to create jaw-dropping outfits for stars including JoJo Siwa (“Karma”), Paula Abdul (“Opposites Attract”), Toni Braxton (“Un-Break My Heart”), Ty Dolla $ign (“CARNIVAL”) and more. At the end of it all, the designer who proves they truly have the chops to make it in the fashion and music industries will walk away with a $100,000 grand prize. The designers will be mentored and judged by multiple Emmy-winning costume designer Marina Toybina (“The Masked Singer”) and creative director, choreographer and Emmy-nominated director Laurieann Gibson (“Lady Gaga Presents: The Monster Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden,” 2011).
“Wayne Brady: The Family Remix” - Season 1 Multihyphenate talent Wayne Brady has captured laughs and entertained audiences for decades, with his improv work in “Who’s Line Is It Anyway?” and his hosting duties in shows like “Let’s Make a Deal” remaining highlights and endearing him to audiences. But there is much more to the talented actor, comedian, host and singer than what audiences get to see onstage (or onscreen), and fans are getting access to the performer like never before with his new Freeform reality series, “Wayne Brady: The Family Remix,” which premieres Thursday, July 25, on Hulu. In his personal life, “Brady has turned the term ‘modern family’ on its head” (per Freeform). Still best friends with his ex-wife, Mandie Taketa (“Manband! The Movie,” 2007), the pair remain close as they co-parent their 21-year-old daughter, Maile, and run their production company, A Wayne & Mandie Creative, together. Plus, “Jason Fordham, Mandie’s life partner since 2009, handles the family’s cinematography and post-production, and Mandie and Jason have an almost 3-year-old son, Sundance-Isamu” (per Freeform). Bringing audiences an intimate look at their blended family life, the series explores points of view and values that many — including Brady’s own family — have a difficult time understanding.
