New owners take the helm at Golden Eagle Golf Club

Golden Eagle Golf Course has been voted MN’s Best Golf Course in the Star Tribune Readers Choice Awards for the last two years and is in the running this year.

The 18-hole championship-style course located in Fifty Lakes, features beautiful views, a restaurant, award winning golf, and full practice amenities. This year, Golden Eagle has the added excitement of new owners that are thrilled with the new venture. Even before you get to the first tee, you will see many new improvements that highlight just how wonderful Golden Eagle Golf Club really is.

New owners Brady Hatcher and his wife, Angie, have been coming to the lakes area for the past 15 years to visit their cabin with their three children. Hatcher has had a lifelong dream of being a golf course owner, and Golden Eagle has been his favorite area course for many years for a good reason. Golfers can continue to expect high quality grounds maintenance and customer service that has always been one of the best parts of visiting Golden Eagle. Recent improvements to the landscaping, clubhouse upgrades and a new fleet of carts are just a few of the things that visitors can enjoy this year. “We have focused a lot of our attention on providing a great customer experience and we want to continue to improve each season, both on and off the course”, says Aaron Johnson, General Manager. “With all of the planned and completed projects, we are very excited to welcome everyone back this spring.”

The course, encompassing 210 majestic acres, was built in 2001 and features 18 scenic holes of golf. With beautiful northwoods surrounding the course, each hole boasts spectacular views.
