More challenges and more fun at Grand View

The courses at Grand View Lodge have been at the top of the awards lists for years. A favorite with both locals, and visitors alike, golfers of all skill levels favor the conditions and playability offered by the resort.
With pre-books better than ever this year and golfers excited to get out on the course, the mild winter and late season snow that had anxious golfers tapping their toes, means they are more than ready to tee off.
Some changes this year mean this season will be one of the best. New tee boxes and bunkers will greet visitors to the Marsh 9 at Grand View. Ohio’s best white sand has been brought in and added to all the bunkers, which have also been treated to new drainage and cart paths.
A few recent tweaks to the courses at the resort mean more challenges, more fun, and more satisfying play than ever.

On a hill? Remember these things

If the ball is below your feet on a hill, the natural flight of the ball will now be more left to right. Maybe take one more club up as the left to right ball flight takes a little distance off of your shot.
When you are on a hill and the ball is above your feet, the ball fight will be more right to left. Here you might want to choke down on your club as the distance from club to ground is a little shorter.
Regardless of above or below your feet, make sure you take some practice swings to test out your balance, as keeping balance on these shots is key.
