Fullblood Simmental Fleckvieh Federation Scholarship Fund The Fullblood Simmental Fleckvieh Federation is initiating a junior scholarship fund in order to assist deserving junior Fleckvieh enthusiasts with college expenses. We realize that we must ﬁrst accumulate enough funds that will help generate income in order for this endeavor to be successful. Cerise is a combination of the proven Monet X King Arthur bloodline that you find in many of the proven Fleckvieh pedigrees of today. Cerise was a big smooth cow with style, muscle, correctness and good feet. She was quiet as a kitten with a perfect udder. Her dam, 108N, was the dam of Contract, Knight Mr. T, Knight Stinger. • We purchased five embryos from Rick Batty of Wyecrest Simmentals out of the famed Pegner cow with the hope of getting two or three heifers. We got two bulls and one heifer. The heifer is in our herd. Trevor Hughes of Peru, IN purchased Little Creek Haunlo 136Z for his commercial herd. Trevor retained nearly every one of the Haunlo sired heifers to go back into his herd. Mason called me after the 2013 sale and asked if we would be willing to sell Zeus. We sold full possession

and retained partial semen rights. This is the first opportunity to purchase Zeus semen. We believe Zeus will prove to be an outstanding female producer.
