FLIGHT SCHEDULE Always check the flight schedule 24 hours before the planned departure to make sure the times haven’t changed. Sign up for alerts in case there has been a last-minute change.
B O A R D I N G PA S S E S Print the boarding passes before leaving for the airport. Printing them ahead of time will circumvent needing to keep
children occupied whilst you check in. If printing them in advance is not an option, use the e-check in service upon arrival.
SECURITY Security is a major obstacle and one that kids can struggle with – especially on a first flight. Make sure they know what to expect during the process and let them know that whilst they might have to put their toys down, they will get them back.
C A R S E AT S Car seats are a contentious issue. If it is not going to be used on the plane, consider leaving it at home and renting one when you land.
