HOLLOWAY MUSEUM COLLECTION As part of our two day May Auction Dunbar Sloane is pleased to offer the Frank Holloway collection comprising a large selection of Tribal artefacts, colonial treasures and bladed weapons The sale presents an opportunity for old seasoned collectors and dealers also new collectors to enter this wonderful and interesting area of collecting with most objects priced below $1,000 and the majority at no reserve. Encompassed in the sale is a very good selection of Maori artefacts, 19th and 20th century examples from Polynesia, Melanesia, Africa the Americas and Australia also a superb collection of Kauri Gum, Folk art, New Zealand colonial and Militaria. Frank Holloway started collecting in the 1960s with a passion for the interesting and rare, the collection which has a and wide range of material is a testament to his hard work ethic and his passion for tribal art and antiques. The collection was housed in the Holloway private family museum in Whanganui and is one of the largest we have offered for many years. Selected private vendor entries will also be offered in this sale.
