Introduction I wrote my Book of Writing mostly in class when I wasn’t goofing around or daydreaming in class. I would try to do a portion of it at home but not a considerable amount probably because I would do the blogs or other work for different classes. Most of my inspiration or purpose of writing this book is because it seems like a good and fun opportunity to explain a topic I am genuinely interested in. And it is also a project that would effectively raise or drop my grade so you know that also persuaded me to do this book. My topic for this project is video games. It pretty much just a book that includes some characters from games or some quotes and information that I remembered or played recently while typing out the project since Mr. Rodriguez assigned the first Book of Writing assignment. It mostly comes from some hit games like Call of Duty, Overwatch, Halo, God of War, and etc. I chose this topic for primarily two reasons. The first reason is that I spend way too much time on my life at videogames and the second reason is it felt easy at the time but over time I may have thought about reconsidering my topic. 3
About the Author Hey, I am Angel Chinchilla and I pretty much learned how to write slowly but surely through school mostly. Sometimes my parents would take time out of their day to also make sure their 3 sons were learning the basics that they can teach at home like ABC and proper writing ethics. I am a 16 year old who likes to play video games so much that I procrastinate on school work just so I can play as much as I can. But I picked up a new hobby besides video games and it is working out but I don’t feel like that wouldn’t be an interesting topic so I chose video games since that is a subject I’ve been exposed to since I was a 4 year old. My first taste of video games would be when I was about 4-5 year old and my dad used to own a Xbox 360 and the only game he had at the time was Halo 3, so that was all that my brothers and I would play when he was at work. Sooner or later he got a Wii, game cube, and Nintendo 64. That was when we were introduced to more family or split-screen based games like Mario Kart, Smash Brothers, and Street Fighter. Some complications eventually happened and we lost some possessions including the Xbox 360 so my dad ended up buying a PS3 when I was 8 and I had that till it broke down when I was 10. When I turned 12 my father bought the Xbox one (2013) because of the Halo Master Chief Collection which came with the original 4 Halo games and sooner Halo 3 ODST and Halo Reach. Then when I graduated from middle school we got a gaming pc where I spend most of my time playing video games now. 4
