Illuminating the holidays at Discovery Bay celebration Yacht Club’s Lighted Boat Parade theme is ‘Christmas in Paradise’ East County residents and their boats took to the water of Discovery Bay to celebrate the holidays during the Discovery Bay Yacht Club’s Lighted Boat
Parade on Dec. 11. The theme of the parade was “Christmas in Paradise.” The yacht club awarded first-, second- and third-place recognition to the top three boats in each of the three size categories: 25 feet and less, 26 to 39 feet, and 40 feet and up. The parade was followed by a party at the yacht club. Winners Commodores Cup boat (the highest award given by the sponsoring Discovery Bay Yacht
