Since its creation, CAS has brought the magic and excitement of the performing arts to our entire community. We welcome back phenomenal violinist Paul Huang for a performance of the greatest American concerto for violin, the Violin Concerto by Samuel Barber on March 3rd. In November, we are proud to feature a full-length screening of Charlie Chaplin’s silent romantic comedy City Lights with the score performed LIVE by the BSO. Along with writing, directing, producing and starring in, Chaplin himself wrote the music to the film. Hailed by audiences as an absolute masterpiece, City Lights is widely regarded as one of the greatest films ever made. This is a Brevard County FIRST - a feature film with live orchestral accompaniment.
