ENROL NOW! Avoid disappointment and enrol now. Enrolling on a course or workshop at the Brewery Arts Centre is easy.
Payments Payments can be made in three ways:
a)
b)
C)
Payment by cheque: payable to KBACTL or Brewery Arts Centre. Please include a separate cheque for each course you wish to attend. Credit or debit card: Complete the appropriate section below and attach to your enrolment form. Please check card details are correct to avoid enrolments being delayed. All cardholder information is secured at all times and kept confidential.
NEW: book online at www.breweryarts.co.uk
Online bookings will incur a £1.50 booking fee. When booking on line an enrolment form with proof of concession ( if applicable ) must be sent to the Brewery once your booking has been made and prior to your course beginning. Failure to do so will result in your place being cancelled.
An enrolment form must be completed to confirm your place. Enrolment forms are also available at Box Office or downloadable from our website at www.breweryarts.co.uk. Places are limited and secured on a first come, first served basis so it’s important to book early to avoid disappointment. Please ensure all paperwork has the correct date and is enclosed with the enrolment form. The ‘NHS Exemption Tax Credit’ card is not acceptable as proof of Working Tax Credit Status.
Fees Two fees are stated for most courses. Most fees (even full price fees) are subsidised by Cumbria County Council and are available for the following categories only.
Fee A) Full Fee Fee B) 50% discount for learner in receipt of: • Job Seekers Allowance • Employment Support Allowance Work and income related • Income Support • Working/Child Tax Credit subject to threshold • Housing/council tax benefit • Pension tax credit guaranteed credit only • And an unwaged dependant of those listed above. • Universal Credit Please contact Zoe Wilkinson, the Adult Education manager on 01539 722833 ext 273 or email adult.ed@breweryarts.co.uk for any special requirements.

Discounts
Are you unable to submit your form?
Cumbria Adult Education continues to provide generous subsidies for our courses, however the automatic 20% discount on course fees for over 60s has stopped.
If you are unable to submit your form because of a disability we can complete your enrolment form and take payment details over the telephone or via email. Please contact the Box Office on 01539 725133 or Adult Education Manager Zoe Wilkinson, on 01539 722833 ext 273. Email adult.ed@breweryarts.co.uk. Proof of concession, if applicable can be brought in on the day of the course, or before. Please note this service is only available to students with a disability.
The 50% discount for those on means tested benefits, of any age, will remain. The removal of the over 60s discount will mean on average around a £1.50 per week increase for a typical 10 session course for participants not on means tested benefits. This change is part of a broader shift in government funding for adult education services towards targeted work with disadvantaged adults.
Brewery Friends
We will need a separate enrolment form for each learner. Return completed forms to our Box Office by hand or post ensuring all the necessary paperwork is included.
A limited number of places are prioritised for Brewery Friends on each course up until the 7th August. Remember to tick the Brewery Friends box on the enrolment form. To become a member complete an application form from the Box Office.
What happens next?
Terms and conditions
We will confirm your enrolment by e- ticket with your course information sheet. If the course is full, you will be put onto our waiting list and contacted should a place become available. Course Information sheets can be requested prior to booking the course. Please be aware that classes may be cancelled up to 2 days prior to start if numbers are too low.
1 Enrolments cannot be made by telephone. 2 Places cannot be reserved. 3 Please complete all sections of the enrolment form. Incomplete forms will be returned to you. This includes missing payments and omission of supporting documents. 4 5 We reserve the right to cancel classes or amend schedules as necessary. Full refunds will be given should your course be cancelled. 6 Refunds are available (minus a £6 administration fee) up until 5 days prior to the start of a course.
Don’t forget!
Absences Please let your tutor know if you are unable to attend a course session for any reason. This is because unrecorded absences have a negative effect on our funding. Three unrecorded absences will result in the cancellation of your place on a course and no refund will be given. Please inform your tutor direct or through the Box Office on 01539 725133.
