OVERVIEW. Bond University is a private university, with global recognition, located on the Gold Coast, Australia. In the 2012 Good Universities Guide, Bond received the most five star ratings out of any university in Australia, epitomizing Bond’s commitment to excellence. Specifically, the Business Students’ Association is the highest form of student-led representation for the Business Faculty within Bond University, responsible for both its students and faculty members.

OUR MISSION To maintain and improve the excellence of the Bond Business Faculty in providing quality academia plus a well-rounded student experience.

OUR ROLES Our roles are focused on successfully executing our mission by; 1) Providing academic services to all Business Students, such as representation and advocacy. 2) Championing opportunities for students to experience real-world application of their degrees by facilitating communication between Bond University, other Universities and Industry personnel. 3) Ensuring all students have a wholesome experience by coordinating various academic and social events. To fulfill our roles The Bond Business Students’ Association, a long-standing student association, relies on sponsorship from Industry to assist us in providing meaningful positive experiences for Business Students.

INTERVIEW COMPETITION

The Bond Business Review (BBR) is a BSA

The Interview Competition is a premier competition run by the BSA with the ultimate goal of

publication produced each semester and distributed throughout Bond University. The

enhancing student’s skills and abilities in regards to applying for a job. Students are given a mock job description for a particular company and then must prepare as if they were applying for that

Whilst the publication is focused towards current Business related topics, the magazine is also read by many across all faculties, reaching a potential audience of over 4,500. The BBR is distributed as a hardcopy publication with an online edition also available through the BSA website.

CAREERS GUIDE The Careers Guide is a comprehensive handbook designed speciically for students to plan their approach to attaining a graduate job in their desired career paths. The Guide provides information across all degrees and majors under the Business Faculty. The Guide lists companies and their associated internships, work experience and graduate programs as well as reviews by Bond students about their experiences with the company. Placement in this Guide provides valuable exposure for sponsor companies, as every student within the Business Faculty, seeking a graduate job, internship or work experience will read and be inluenced by the positive placement of your company brand. The Guide is distributed during Grad Week and is then available throughout the entire year.

FACEBOOK In today’s world, social media is the main tool for communicating instantly with large audiences. As a result, the BSA Facebook Page is a key method for communication between Business students and the BSA. We provide immediate announcements about upcoming events, information regarding the BSA and a link to the website.

WEEKLY UPDATES The BSA sends out a weekly email to all students within the Business Faculty providing information regarding events, opportunities and any general announcements for the students. As a result, it is a valuable promotional tool used by the BSA.

PACKAGES. SOCIAL EVENTS. MASTER CLASS

The Master Class is a networking event focusing on a different area of business each semester. Professionals within the speciied business area are invited to speak to students, with an opportunity for questions at the conclusion of each speech. Students are also encouraged to network with each of the speakers over canapes with the hope of building relationships and broadening their knowledge of the different business ields.

PALAVER

Palaver is typically run at the beginning of each trimester. It is the largest social event that the BSA organizes, as well as being one of the biggest events on the social calendar. Targeted towards all students, this event promotes the inclusive ‘family-like’ culture at Bond with attendee numbers capped at 1, 000. Decorations, lights, music and food all tie together to create a fun, lively, themed night for all involved.

SUNDAY SESSION

A social event with a more relaxed atmosphere, Sunday Session is designed to faciliate and encourage the integration of new students and provide an outlet prior to the start of exam focus. Held towards the end of semester, this event is targeted to all students at Bond, covering a diverse range of ethnicities and faculties. As an event strongly supported by the students, it is undoubtedly popular and always looked forward to.

BUSINESS BREAKFAST

The Business Breakfast is primarily a networking event, enabling students and industry professionals to communicate in a formal yet welcoming environment. Students who attend the breakfast are typically some of the brightest and most ambitious, eager to meet professionals and gain insight into their world.

GRUDGE WEEK

Held throughout week 9, this is the largest sporting event on campus comprising of three Faculty Student Associations in conjunction with the overarching Bond University Students’ Association (BUSA). The week’s events include the Business vs. Law Rugby Match, the North vs. South AFL Match, beach cricket games and debating competitions, where crowds of over 700 can enjoy the competitions with food and drink all supplied.

DIGITAL MEDIA

All Platinum Sponsors will be automatically listed on the BSA’s website, on both the Home Page and the Sponsorship Page. Upgrades to your Platinum Sponsorship for Digital Media purposes are as follows: •$500 per trimester: direct posting of up to 3 announcements via the BSA Website, Weekly Updates and Facebook Page. Including a direct link from the Website to your company’s home page. •$250 per trimester: direct posting of 1 announcement via the BSA Website, Weekly Updates and Facebook Page. Including a direct link from the Website to your company’s home page. •$100 per trimester: direct link from the Website to your company’s homepage.

CAREERS GUIDE • Platinum: $1000.00 per full-page advertisement, with internship details and graduate options. • Gold: $500.00 per half-page advertisement, with internship details and graduate options. • Silver: $300.00 per quarter-page advertisement, with internship details and graduate options. • Bronze: $200.00 to be listed as a BSA endorsed company for graduating Bond students. *NOTE: only sponsoring companies will be listed in the careers guide, which will then be distributed to all Business Faculty students.

BUSINESS BREAKFAST • Platinum: $500.00 Includes exclusive naming rights for the event, name and logo in all forms of promotion as well as multiple, company speciic promotional items, to be displayed during the breakfast. Also will include direct mentioning at the opening and closing of the event. •Gold: $300.00 Includes promotion as a contributing sponsor with name and logo in all forms of promotion. One form of company speciic promotion may be displayed, with mention at the opening and closing of the event as a contributing sponsor. •Silver: $200.00 Includes promotion as a contributing sponsor with name and logo in all forms of promotion.

PALAVER/SUNDAY SESSION/MEGA BOWL •Platinum: $2000.00 per event. Includes exclusive naming rights for the event, name and logo included in all forms of promotion (posters, tickets, videos and digital media). When displayed, will also be done with larger size and not grouped with other sponsors. If provided, company speciic promotion will be on display for the entirety of the event e.g. banner, posters, products etc. Also, a one-off, up to 15 seconds worth of audio promotion on the night. •Gold: $1000.00 per event. Includes promotion as a contributing sponsor, where name and logo will appear on all forms of promotion. Two hours worth of company speciic promotion will be displayed on the night. Also, a one-off, up to 5 seconds worth of audio promotion on the night. •Silver: $750.00 per event. Includes promotion as a contributing sponsor, where name and logo will appear on all forms of promotion. One hour worth of company speciic promotion will be displayed on the night. •Bronze: $500.00 per event. Includes promotion as a contributing sponsor, where name and logo will appear on all forms of promotion.
