What if we could use technology to help increase fluency for people who stutter? The human voice is one of the few things that binds us together as the human race. There are many ways in which a greater understanding of the voice could benefit humanity. Beyond words and emotion, the voice plays a key role in how we interact with others, with technology and even with ourselves. We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Rébecca Kleinberger , Voice Creative Technologist and Research Affiliate at the MIT Media Lab. Students, teachers, and parents are encouraged to join independently or in groups. This session is most relevant to grades six and above. Please note that this session will be in French.

INSPIRATION MAKERS!
This year Brilliant Labs is looking for those teachers who inspire others to be their best and who are taking chances to try new things to educate students. We're pleased to share New Brunswick's "Inspiration Maker!" WHO: YVES GODIN WHERE: ÉCOLE MARGUERITE BOURGEOYS The laser cutter at the Caraquet Marguerite Bourgeoys school has been creating brilliant things for student projects and community projects. Teacher, Yves Godin, took it upon himself to learn this new tool and develop new skills for him and his students. He has developed great partnerships with community organizations and the students are helping design a variety of things for them. During the Olympics, the students were asked to design their own medals and they were able to laser cut them and keep them.
