We are pleased to announce our next speaker series session with Cindy HsinLiu Kao. We are looking forward to welcoming Dr. Kao to share her unique work designing on-skin interfaces (i.e., smart tattoos and bandages), electronic textiles in Human-Computer Interaction and Wearable projects that blend art, science, and engineering boundaries.

Walk In Colours!
Join Brilliant Labs and the "I Move, I Learn" movement on June 10, 2022 for the annual Walk in Colours event! This year, participating classes will be able to help their native ecosystems by planting seeds of their province's official flowers.

Shannon Patterson 's Science 10 students studied Physics by building and testing different parachute designs to study the acceleration and forces due to gravity….but they took this experiment further by collecting real time data from coded microbits.

This year Brilliant Labs is looking for those teachers who inspire others to be their best and who are taking chances to try new things to educate students. We're pleased to share this Nova-Scotia "Inspiration Maker!" Who: Pine Ridge Mini Course Days Where: Pine Ridge Middle School Twitter: @PineRidgeMiddl2
May 19-20th were Mini Course days at Pine Ridge middle school, where students are encouraged to explore different skills and interests. These students worked with Brilliant Labs to create illuminating works of art with their new found paper circuit knowledge and learned to needle felt, as well as create their own mini terrariums!
Project Highlight Laura Bentley’s grade 4 class at École Beaubassin in Bedford used their school’s new sewing machine to design and sew a quilt. Each student worked on their own square, and combined them to make something beautiful and unique!
