Circular Making Innovation Challenge

Our circular making challenge is based on circular economy, which is when something becomes food or the base material for something else In a perfect circular economy world, there would be no landfills Everything would be reused, but for that we have to change the way we think and use materials, we have to start from existing materials instead of sourcing new ones or we have to be able to recycle existing materials while they keep their quality. Our challenge encourages students to : minimize waste, reduce energy , reduce carbon footprint, find solutions in which our waste build capitol , rethink redesign

Mission Mars

In this challenge students worked together to design, engineer, and prototype a Mars rover that can perform a variety of tasks and collect data on a simulated Martian surface. Rovers will gather data from sensors including temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, iron ore, light intensity, and try to detect sound, water, and seismic activity. They will be challenged to collect core samples all while controlling it remotely from their classroom in real time to simulate the delays in controlling rovers on another planet Each participating class received a Mission: Mars rover kit.
