PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS Ms. Whitney Pye’s 7-9 class at St. Mary’s All Grade School in Mary’s Harbour, Labrador, has been working on their Hackoween projects. Students are using various pieces of coding technology including Makey Makeys, micro:bit, robits and b.Boards, to create their own Halloween decoration. Students have opted to create an original design rather than “hacking” an existing decoration. One student created a 3D printed jack o'lantern and others are using cardboard and other household items to create their pieces. Every piece is unique and with the aid of technology has some aspect of lights or sound.
