The Bristol SU Awards The Bristol SU Awards are the most prestigious event in the SU calendar. Taking place in June in Bristol SU’s Anson Rooms, they are our flagship awards ceremony: a chance to showcase student excellence from the past year. There are over 250 students and senior members of University and SU staff in attendance. High profile individuals such as the University Vice Chancellor, the Mayor of Bristol and the Lord Lieutenant also attend.
The Sports Awards The Sports Awards are held at a gala dinner each year in June. Over 500 people attend, including high profile SU and University staff, and representatives from Bristol SU’s 60 Sports Clubs. Many of our Sports Clubs compete in the British Universities & College Sports (BUCS) league, where last year Bristol placed 8th in the country.
The Societies Awards The inaugural Society Awards took place in June 2018 at Bristol SU’s Balloon Bar. The awards celebrate the exceptional work of societies whose activities have made outstanding contributions to the student experience at Bristol SU. As of October 2018, 16,000 students held a total over 27,000 group memberships. Because of the sheer number of students involved with societies, the Society Awards would provide you with a great reach into the student market.

Bristol Jets Cheerleading Who we are We are the cheerleading sports club. We have 6 teams: 4 competitive teams, a varsity team and a developmental team. We compete at 3 competitions a year as well as taking part in many charity activities such as ignition and we recently raised money for the ward of the hospital who looked after one of our members who had sepsis. In the past few years we have had 3 teams become 2x national champions and our top stunting team become ultimate champions.
Number of Members: 170 Awards and Achievements #Wearebristol sports club of the year. Bristol SU physical activity of the year. 3 teams become 2 x national champions 2018. 2 teams become national champions and 1 team x ultimate champions 2017. Supporting American Football, Lacrosse and Basketball at Varsity.
What we need and why We need sponsorship to make our club more accessible to everyone. At the moment some of the teams cost ÂŁ220 for the year without extras such as uniform and merchandise. With sponsorship we would use the money towards training spaces, competition fees, coaches and making sure members get as much value for money as possible, we are always looking to develop our club.
Sponsorship assets We have a lot of merchandise and social media and are willing to promote companies through both of these avenues. We will put their logos on our team jumpers and do posts about them on our instagram and facebook.
Partnership We can offer sponsors invitation to matches we perform at, multiple pictures from competitions and training for their websites/newsletters. We can offer them huge promotion on our social media, we have over 1000 followers.

Bristol University Kitesurfing Society
8
Who we are With the introduction of kitesurfing into the 2024 Olympics, the University of Bristol Kitesurfing Society offers a unique and thrilling opportunity to get involved with the fastest growing extreme sport in the UK. We aim to bring together experienced kitesurfers as well as attract complete beginners to the sport. The society launches numerous kitesurfing trips to destinations in the UK and abroad whilst also holding weekly socials to bring everyone closer as a group.
Number of Members: 35 What we need and why Kitesurfing is still in it’s infancy as a sport and as a result, the kit is expensive and not accessible to everyone. The aim is to reduce the cost by giving its members free use of the society kit and provide cheap tuition. To keep our kit in good condition and safe for everyone to use, it is required that we replace old stock with newer models on a rolling basis. To make the sport accessible to all, we need external sponsorship to help raise funds to purchase new kit so that we don’t have to increase our membership price, or the cost of a weekend trip. Any money that we gain through sponsorship will go towards kit for the society. This may include the kites/boards themselves, wetsuits to keep beginners warm, harnesses and safety systems.
Sponsorship assets Each year, we create lots of branded clothing that we give or sell to the society. We would display sponsor logos on all of these items including T-shirts, towels, hats, jumpers and rash vests. We can also display sponsor logos on wetsuits or wetsuits hoodies if a deal was set up with a supplier. We have a banner that we display on the beach at every trip and we have 2 active social media platforms, Facebook and Instagram.
Partnership Our biggest benefit to potential sponsors is promotion of their company in many different ways. We have a large social media following, through which we can make posts boosting the company or advertising a product. We also run events in tandem with the Student Kitesurfing Association where we can promote the company or invite them to set up a promotional stall.

Clay Pigeon Shooting Who we are We are a friendly and open club welcoming all abilities from seasoned shots to complete beginners. We host a range of socials and dinners throughout the year to compliment our weekly shoots and competitions. A lot of the club are predominantly game shots with ties to the countryside but a members are becoming more varied year on year.
Number of Members: 55 Awards and Achievements Our competition draws over 150 competitors.
What we need and why As an inherently expensive sport we try to subsidise competitions to gather as many members as possible and promote the club outside of University.
Sponsorship assets We have club kit as well as banners at our own competition. Scorecards are a great medium for promoting a brand. We have a Facebook group with 600 members as well as a growing Instagram following.

Korfball Who we are Korfball is the best sport you’ve never heard of - a Dutch sport that combines the best of basketball, netball and handball. It is the only truly mixed sport in the world as each team consists of 4 guys and 4 girls playing on the same pitch together. Our club plays competitively, with consistent success in the local leagues, and we are currently the 3rd best university Korfball club in the country. We also run popular social training sessions, as we believe in the importance of sport being fun and accessible for all.
Number of Members: 60 Awards and Achievements Coach of the Year - 2016/17 Lifetime Achievement Award (club captain) - 2017/18
What we need and why We currently cannot afford enough hall time to give our players enough training to continue to improve and maintain our high standard. We particularly would like to book more sports hall slots so that we can run friendly tournaments for new players to get them more involved in sport and give them match playing opportunities. If we received sponsorship money, we would be able to hire sports halls and use this time to benefit the whole club. Another way that sponsorship money could be used is to hire an external coach. The majority of our coaching is student-led, and if we could regularly hire an external coach this would relieve the pressure on our students, and provide valuable and knowledgeable training for everyone.
Sponsorship assets We can display your logo on team shirts, club banners and social media
Partnership We can offer invitations to matches, features in our newsletter and on Facebook events, commitment to use space for socials

Men’s Hockey Who we are Our club boasts 6 teams in BUCS competitions and 4 weekend teams, all competing at very high levels, with the 1st team finishing 3rd in the South Premiership for BUCS and being promoted back into the National League this year, the second highest league in the country for all club hockey.

Last year we received the second highest total of BUCS points for the university. We also came in the top 30 UK groups for Movember last year, above Google UK.
What we need and why Better equipment, specifically hockey balls and goalkeeper kit. As well as this, we would use the money to better fund coaches for all of our teams.
Sponsorship assets Team shirts, shorts, training kit, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, National League Brochures which we have to have for every home game and pitch-side banners.
Partnership Our sponsors are welcome to come to any of our games and we are happy to organise to play their own teams in a friendly match. Earlier this year we played a mixed match against one of our sponsors and put on an event for them afterwards. For all of our 1st team games we have a professional photographer.

Trampoline and Gymnastics Club Who we are A sports club that trains in both trampolining and gymnastics. We own 8 Olympic sized trampolines and a number of mats which enables us to run our own trampoline sessions in the University sports hall. We train externally for gymnastics, training at The City of Bristol Gymnastics Centre in Hartcliffe. We compete in the Southern Universities Trampoline League (SUTL), BUCS and in varsity with UWE.
Number of Members: 86 Awards and Achievements Individual medals in bronze, silver and gold in last year’s SUTL, an overall individual medal in medals S2 SUTL and a win at both trampoline and gymnastics varieties in 2018.
What we need and why Ultimately we would like to grow our savings account in order to purchase a new trampoline. We currently do not own an Ultimate trampoline and being able to train on one would improve our chances of improved performance at competitions. As well as this, trampoline servicing and maintenance is very expensive, with this year’s service and maintenance costing £2016 just to be able to keep using our trampolines.
Sponsorship assets We can display your logo on team kit, social media (we have an active Instagram, Facebook and website), on our welcome fair stall, on our monthly newsletter, at our home competition which we host within SUTL in which we have over 400 competitors from 20 Southern Universities.
Partnership We would advertise logos and company information in the previously mentioned places. As mentioned, we run an annual competition in which we host over 400 people and we would therefore invite the company to attend and promote their business throughout the day. We offer team building days using our trampoline facilities, where we can provide trained coaches for the company.

Number of Members: 100 Awards and Achievements Qualified for Mixed Nationals 2018, Host 2 tournaments per year (Bristol Beginners and South West Supercup), consistently performing well in regional tournaments.
What we need and why Money from sponsorship would go towards making indoor training free (more accessible to everyone), increase the frequency of indoor training, facilities to host tournaments, travel to tournaments, make kit cheaper for members

University of Bristol Cricket Club Who we are UBCC is a inclusive club that provides opportunities for men and women of all abilities to achieve the highest standard of cricket. We have grown from around 30 members in 2011 to 90 members, including the women’s team who have doubled in size since 2016/17. We have 5 teams (4 Men’s and 1 Women’s) competing in outdoor BUCS cricket (including the Men’s 1st XI in the National Premier League) and 2 teams in indoor BUCS.
Number of Members: 90 Awards and Achievements Nominated for Bristol SU Team of the Year Men’s 1st XI secured safety in the National Premier League Men’s 1st XI won the BUCS Plate Men’s 2nd XI promoted Men’s 3rd XI promoted Women’s 1st XI indoor and outdoor varsity wins Men’s 1st XI indoor and outdoor varsity wins.
What we need and why Firstly, the money would go towards entering development sides into local leagues, helping bolster participation in cricket at the University and improve the skills of players who are new to the sport. We are looking to redevelop the facilities at our home ground, Coombe Dingle. An integral part of this is replacing our manual scoreboard with an electronic version. Finally, with the growing ambitions of the club, the balls required by the 1st XIs in the National Premier League set the club back around £2,000 a year. We need to ensure playing at this high level is financially viable for years to come, as we continue to climb the ranks of University cricket.
Sponsorship assets We have a number of promotional opportunities for your business depending upon the level of investment into the club. Primarily sponsors’ logos can be found on all our playing tops and website, as well as all our extensive coverage on social media - our follower base is over 2000 people across platforms. With the redevelopment of Coombe Dingle becoming increasingly imminent, it could be possible to display your logo on the new electronic scoreboard or with banners around the edges of the playing area. This would offer unparalleled exposure to our University students as well as visiting students and members of the public.
Partnership Sponsors would be more than welcome to be as involved in the club as they wish. We would invite sponsors to all of our matches at Coombe Dingle, our annual black-tie dinner and corporate days at the Gloucestershire County Cricket Ground.

University of Bristol Spartans Who we are
Basketball at the University of Bristol is for everyone. With both men’s and women’s teams within the same club, we invite students of all abilities to try-out. We have 3 men’s teams and 2 women’s teams competing in BUCS (British University & College Sport) and a Participation to Performance (P2P) squad.
Number of Members: 111 Awards and Achievements Last season all teams achieved great success in the leagues. What we need and why The Spartans are dreaming big! We want the Basketball club to become a dynasty with big crowds alongside with greater success. However, this is a lot easier said then done. We need finances to employ coaches, produce advertisements, travel to fixtures, equipment, facilities and much more. Your financial support could aid us in growing to our full potential, both through our brand and performance. It could aid us in achieving our goals in becoming a dominant basketball club and introducing more teams. This would in turn improve the benefit your company would get from sponsorship as visibility would increase.
Sponsorship assets We could give you advertisement on our social media, newsletters and posters. Students playing University Sport are often well watched by friends and family, especially varsity events! Through advertisement at such events, in demographics other than the student population we can ensure visibility to a wider range of people.
Partnership
We would advertise your company on appropriate media such as posters, social media pages and newsletters. This would most likely take the form of a logo and potentially a slogan. Furthermore, your product could be sold at events along with our merchandise! Offering direct opportunities for people to purchase your product. Lastly, you would receive invitations to every single one of our matches.

Women’s Football Club Who we are UBWFC is a fast growing, inclusive club for everyone at the University who wants to play football, no matter what ability. We currently hold the title of ‘Most improved Sports Club’ and had 2 out of our 3 BUCS teams being promoted last season - meaning the club is having more success and exposure than ever. We are looking to continue these successes both on and off the pitch in the coming years, to help the club grow further and to give even more women the opportunity to play football.

We are a relatively small club, so the profit we make from membership costs is limited. We would use sponsorship money for the running of the club and to pay our physio. Sponsorship would help us improve the quality of the club by ensuring enough 1 to 1 coaching time, as well as ensuring everyone is able to get to their game. Societies
22
A Cappella Society Who we are The University of Bristol A Cappella Society is one of the largest and most active societies in Bristol SU, offering students the opportunity to sing in 9 different groups in a variety of different styles and commitment levels.
Number of Members: 150 Awards and Achievements Awarded: Bristol SU Society Award 2017 & 2018, Bristol SU Gold Balloon Accreditation 2017 and 2018, ICCA UK Finalists, VoiceFest 2016 Champions Nominated (in Bristol SU 2018 Society Awards): Most inclusive society, Society Event of the Year, Most Inspiring Committee, The Good Times Award As well as this, 5 of our groups having taken successful shows to the Edinburgh Fringe throughout the past 10 years on multiple occasions, a number of our groups have featured on national television, made music videos and released music on major streaming websites.
What we need and why Our society needs sponsorship in order to pay for important equipment and transport costs that enhance our performances vastly as well as making every performance opportunity possible and affordable for students. The society is slowly building a collection of tech equipment; such as microphones and speakers in order to perform professionally and with a full sound, but this expense makes it difficult to save for everything that we require. Groups in our society often have the opportunity to sing in competitions or shows outside of Bristol, which require transport and accommodation. With Sponsorship, we would invest in tech equipment to boost the quality of our shows, and we would hope to subsidise the costs of travel for students representing the society.
Sponsorship assets All of our social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), on our society website, on our society t-shirts, a club banner which features in our major events, and also in the backdrop of our society shows.
Partnership Free tickets to a society show with an opportunity to speak to the show’s audience, a free drinks reception with a chance to speak directly to the society members and take photographs with the society, as well as a mention in the society’s weekly emails (with 300+ recipients).

We have also had members breaking to judge the finals of the European Universities Debating Championships, as well as competitions across Bath, Swansea, Cardiff and Exeter. We also recently had a team break to the finals of the Oxford IV (the biggest competition in the UK).
What we need and why We are currently experiencing high levels of success at competitions across Europe and would like to get sponsorship so that we can continue to subsidise travel for teams to competitions that are abroad. This means that we can continue to build our brand as a society and gain more recognition, boosting attendance at our own competitions. We could also put sponsorship towards expanding our competitions in other ways, e.g. paying for higher level judges to attend our tournaments so that we can attract a greater number of teams.
Sponsorship assets We have jumpers which we wear to competitions where we could display sponsor logos, we also run 3 competitions which could be individually sponsored, so posting on the Facebook event, sending emails out to participants and having banners at the competition itself. We can also display sponsorship on our Facebook page and website. We also send out a weekly newsletter to over 1,000 students and alumni where we could feature sponsors.
Partnership Invitations to competitions and the opportunity to watch debates and directly talk about their company to participants at the competition, photographs for newsletters and featuring on our marketing for competitions.

What we need and why We aim to hold more talks, and to do this we will need to cover the costs of some of the speakers who will travel to reach us. As well as this we plan on creating t-shirts for our committee and members and possibly other merchandise. Furthermore, we may need to cover security costs for some of our events.
Sponsorship assets Currently we can display logos on our Facebook page and at our talks. Once we have raised the money for t-shirts and other merchandise logos can be displayed here too. Finally, on the blog we aim to create, where our committee and guest writers will contribute.
Partnership We would be able to mention sponsors at our talks and other events. We could promote specific events with the names of sponsors. Also, given the prevalence of discussions of free speech on campus and in society currently, it will provide exposure from a society that is associated with such a significant topic. We would be able to offer free entry and invitations to our events, and we could send pictures from our events.

Bristol University Hot Air Ballooning Society (BUHABS)
Who we are We fly the University’s iconic red and white balloon both in Bristol and across the UK & Europe!
Number of Members: 65
What we need and why We are in search of funds for a replacement van and/or trailer for our flying operations, as well as help cover our expensive running costs. As one of only two active university ballooning societies it is vital we secure funding through sponsorship soon so that we can continue to offer students the rare opportunity to get involved in hot air ballooning in Bristol, the UK’s home of the sport.
Sponsorship assets On any society clothing, on one or more panels of our balloon’s basket, on our van and/or trailer (depending on the level of sponsorship offered), on our 3 active social media accounts and our website, and on any promotional materials (videos/roller banners/leaflets) we produce.
Partnership Hot air balloons always attract the attention of the public and of the media. Being associated with BUHABS as a sponsor offers the following benefits: brand or name association with the UK’s longest established and most active student ballooning club. Possibility for advertising on the balloon basket and/or support vehicle and trailer. Possibility for flights for staff members or as prizes and possibility of flights for guests. There is also the possibility of balloon appearing at company events or special activites, subject to dates being compatible and provided sponsorship level is sufficient to support use of commercial balloon pilots. This may include the annual Bristol International Balloon Fiesta which attracts crowds of up to 500,000. We can provide high-quality photo and video content of our balloon with the sponsor’s logo clearly displayed on the basket (for use online and in print).

Chaos Who we are We aim to create a sense of community amongst those studying, or just interested in, physics. This year we organised a variety of social events, from our Christmas formal (Physball) to trips to the pub and, in the summer, barbecues. There is also an academic side to the society, with talks on areas from research to popular science. We’ve put on trips to places such as JET (a fusion reactor) and CERN in Geneva, as well as providing a pastoral ‘parenting’ system.
Number of Members: 721 Awards and Achievements We are very proud to have recently won Best Academic and Careers Society as well as coming runner-up for Best Society at the National Societies Awards 2018. Good Times Award at Bristol SU Society Awards. Institute of Physics Affiliation. Largest departamental Society.
What we need and why Chaos is solely funded by its members and by its sponsors, receiving no funding from the University of Bristol. In order for the society to continue to put on top class events, and continue to be an awardwinning society, your company’s sponsorship will be essential. This allows us to continue developing our liberation networks (LGBT+, BME, Postgraduate etc) and run events for them, as membership to these networks are free. They also allow us to subsidise sports and ensure that our events are affordable for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Sponsorship assets Social Media, Website, Physical tickets to events, Newsletter and in booklets made for yearly undergrad conference, careers event and industry month.
Partnership Invitation to our undergraduate conference, photographs for newsletters, opportunity to organise visits to the company if they are an industrial site, option to host their own events.

Dance Society Who we are DanceSoc is an inclusive, student-run society which offers 25 classes per week, of varying styles and levels, to student and non-student members in the community. We have a very successful 52-person competition team which competes nationally each year as well as a nonaudition, inclusive Performance Team. We collaborate with community projects in Bristol such as Flamingo Chicks and PHAB.
Number of Members: 360 Awards and Achievements Last year all of our teams placed in the advanced categories as well as winning awards ‘Best choreography in comp’, ‘Best Female’, ‘Best Male’ and ‘Best overall team’. Best Performing Arts Society of the Year 2018’ at the SU Society awards We won 5/5 of our Varsity competitions against UWE Dance.
What we need and why As we strive to keep our membership prices down to maintain the accessibility of the group to all students we don’t make a profit from memberships. As we employ professional teachers for all 25 of our classes, the majority of the revenue generated from membership gets spent on teacher payments. We require sponsorship to support our incredibly successful competition team. Unfortunately, as the Dance Society is not considered a sports club, we are not allocated a budget to help subsidise expenses. Part of the money and donations will go towards travel to competitions, competition fees, and costume costs whilst the remaining funds will be saved and allocated towards the entire society through studio upkeep. As all classes use the studio in the SU, there is a need to purchase a new tap flooring and replace unsafe equipment.
Sponsorship assets We can customise our competition team kit with the sponsors logos which we take to different competitions. If we were to secure sponsorship then we would be happy to put logos on banners, signs and of course the sponsor would be listed on every social media platform we have. as well as advertised in the studio.
Partnership We can offer free tickets to shows and performances. Free performances at their own events or fundraisers and society-wide distribution and publication of the services that the sponsor offers.

Duality (chemical physics society)
Who we are We aim to support chemical physics students both personally and academically, through social and educational events, as well as being around to advise them.
Number of Members: 44 Awards and Achievements Bristol Innovation Award 2018.
What we need and why Sponsorships would not only help our society expand further, but the right scientific companies would give career insight to our members. Events such as talks from leading professionals and educational trips to industrial sites would satisfy the aims of our society set out in our constitution. Furthermore, other types of sponsorship such as for social events would give gentle introductions between our members and companies, strengthening links between them and allowing us to further their general interest in Chemical Physics.
Sponsorship assets Our large social media presence would ensure optimal visibility for your logos. On top of this, we will include them on any material we make for events, for example promotional posters and slides or handouts during events.
Partnership Invitations to give talks or organise visits to your businesses for both our members and those of the various societies we collaborate with. Marketing on our Student Union website and social media outlets, sponsored events, and direct connections to recent chemical physics graduates and current undergraduates, a highly sought-after group of scientists which will prove a valuable pool for your company to have access to.

Partnership Any companies looking for smart individuals for jobs/internships/grad schemes both in uni and out we would love to be able to publicise the roles available on Helix’s page (with over 500 members). InFilm Society Who we are Bristol’s first and only filmmaking Society (which automatically makes us the best), we pride ourselves on producing a creative outlet for student filmmakers and giving workshops and tutorials to help students learn the skills they need to further their interest in filmmaking. Our current line up has us producing the work of first time directors under the banner of Beginner Directors, our second series of short films under our Series Slot, and three female driven short films under the banner of Project Elephant female filmmakers initiative.
Number of Members: 131 Awards and Achievements Recently secured ÂŁ1,669 in funding from the SU group grants first round of applications
What we need and why As a relatively new and rapidly growing society we would welcome sponsorship and all opportunities for further funding and sustainability, any money or donations raised would be used to further both our practical filmmaking through the purchasing of equipment and allow us a larger budget to make higher quality films. Such funding would also allow us the opportunity to better promote events and showcases of our work, along with providing a chance to fund applications to local and national film festivals.
Sponsorship assets We would be able to display logos on our Instagram and Facebook pages, along with in our membership group on Facebook. We would also be able to provide product placement within our productions and at our events.

Inter:Mission Who we are Online arts and culture magazine.
Number of Members: 11 Awards and Achievements We recently published a one-off zine, showcasing the rich and talented team of editors and contributors. We are incredibly proud of our relationship with other organisations and creatives in Bristol. We recently held our first event of the year, an evening of spoken word and poetry at The Square Club. Next week we will be raising money for The Orchid Project through a gig at The Crofter’s Rights, followed in December by a collaboration with the infamous Bristol music collective Semi Peppered for a night of music and art at Elemental, also in Stokes Croft.
What we need and why Our membership is free, which is important to us as we don’t feel creatives or writers should need to pay to express themselves. However, this means the only way we make money is off events, which due to venue hire and wanting to keep ticket costs low for students, together with the costs of running our website, mean we have little money to play around with. We would use sponsorship money to fund future events, involving artists and creatives who require payment to work, and hiring out larger spaces for our growing collective. In the past, limited edition t-shirts have had a very popular response, so creating more products associated with Inter:Mission would also be a great use for the money.
Sponsorship assets At the bottom of our website page, we can do a promotional article on the website and posts on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
Partnership Free entry to our events, features on our website and social media such including reviews written by our team or photographs taken by us relating to a sponsor (e.g. product, venue etc.)

Natural Health Society Who we are At the Natural Health Society, we run workshops in the making of all kinds of natural products. Our aim is to inform and encourage people to use more natural ingredients which are better for their health and the environment. Most beauty products sold contain palm oil which is rapidly destroying the rain-forest. As our new society expands, a percentage of ticket sales will go towards rainforest conservation charities. So far our workshops have included soap, body scrub, deodorant, face cream and candle making.
Number of Members: 39 What we need and why In order to purchase sustainable ingredients, we would appreciate financial support. We also need equipment and would love to buy society t-shirts in the future.
Sponsorship assets We are very active on our Facebook page and will happily post about sponsorship support. With more funding we also intend to buy group t-shirts to display sponsor logos on.
Partnership We will publicise them as a key supporter for our society on our social media sites and mailing list of 300+ people. They would be associated with a very environmentally concerned society which is unique to any other Bristol University Society. The Economics, Finance and Management Society
Who we are The EFM Society provides a range of academic, social and career based events for all Bristol University students who have an interest in Economics and related issues.
Number of Members: 771
What we need and why As the largest society at Bristol we currently have over 700 members. Throughout the year we host careers and academic talks from external speakers, as well as an annual trip abroad and numerous socials in Bristol. We also run several sports teams including Football, Rugby and Mixed Netball. Funding from our sponsors mainly contributes to our running costs of these events. For example some events have catering costs whilst our sports teams have kit and referee costs for each match.
Sponsorship assets We currently have several mediums through which we display our sponsors to our members. For sponsors wanting to hold careers events in Bristol or promote their graduate schemes, we publicise these opportunities through both our Facebook group (over 2000 members) and our email list, which is sent to 1400 recipients. We also have a website, bristolefm.org through which we also promote all our sponsors. For our premium partners we hold specific pages on our website through which visitors can read in greater detail about a specific sponsor, which has proven a very popular option this year.
Partnership Our sponsors are able to increase their coverage with our members, enabling them to promote the graduate opportunities and improve their brand awareness on campus. We offer a number of packages, including opportunities to sponsor our sports teams, our annual Christmas Ball, as well as more premium packages that give more exposure to our members throughout the year.

Number of Members: 35 Awards and Achievements Interests and Skills Society of the Year 2017-18
What we need and why New members often don’t own their own ukuleles so we often have to share instruments which isn’t ideal, and makes it hard to entice new people to join. We would love to get sponsorship to be able to afford some society-owned ukuleles which members could use to see if they enjoy it before committing to buying their own, without detriment to other members of the society.
Sponsorship assets We would be able to display sponsor logos prominently on our social media and Bristol SU page. We would also display them at our stall at Freshers’ Fair each year, and at the smaller freshers’ fair in Refreshers’ Week, as well as any other publicity opportunities we may have in the future, for example any performances we put on.
Partnership We can publicly acknowledge sponsors on our social media posts. We can also offer sponsors invitations to any sessions or socials we put on. We regularly take photos and videos of performances at our regular sessions so we could send those for newsletters or websites etc.

We put on events for our members to inspire and engage them in the world of finance. We aim to instil confidence in our members by supporting them and providing the opportunity to build a strong professional network, and we welcome all students.
Number of Members: 317 Awards and Achievements Most Inspiring Committee, Bristol SU Awards
What we need and why Membership is free to ensure our society is accessible to all students, but this means we require sponsorship to fund our activities. Sponsorship money will enable us to put on more events for our members and provide more resources in order to inspire and encourage more women at Bristol university to go into the finance industry. Our events range from holding workshops, panel events, networking and talks from guest speakers and companies.
Sponsorship assets We can display sponsor logos next to our society logo, so on all forms of social media, our Student Union webpage and our website. We can also put logos on any printed posters and leaflets used to advertise our events which are displayed around campus, and print them on our Welcome fair leaflets. We will be able to display logos as part of presentations and banners at our events, and on any emails sent from our email account.
Partnership We can invite sponsors to societal events hosted throughout the year and they will be able to advertise to our members via email, Facebook page and on our website. We also offer the opportunity to host events, workshops and speakers from their company at our events.

Women In Engineering
Who we are We encourage girls into engineering through outreach, creating a community of female engineers at Bristol University and showcasing and supporting women in engineering within the faculty and in industry.
Number of Members: 74 Awards and Achievements Awarded a grant from the Faculty of Engineering to run a “Fix your own bike” workshop
What we need and why We don’t charge for our membership so we can be as inclusive as possible, plus, we feel it is unfair to charge students to be part of our society as well as paying for their course society and a sport society. Therefore our funding comes from industry. The money will go towards: refreshments and catering (e.g. Pizza at our successful talk series), materials for our outreach workshops, subsidising travel to schools so as many students can take part as possible, prizes at our annual Christmas pub quiz and prizes at our Palet-a-thon (design competition out of wooden pallets).
Sponsorship assets On all our posters on which are displayed throughout Queen’s Building and Merchant Ventures Building. We also have a large presence on social media including on other engineering society’s pages and groups as we are a faculty wide society. Also we are in the process of creating merchandise which would feature any sponsor’s logos.
Partnership Sponsors would be included on any promotional material produced. We would also like sponsors to send representatives to judge our Palet-a-thon design competition. Plus we would like to invite representatives to take part in our talks series “How Women are Changing the World with Engineering”. Also, we would like women from the industry to accompany us to our outreach work.
