INTERNATIONAL SHOWCASE FUND

PRS Foundation’s International Showcase Fund offers vital support for artists, bands, songwriters and producers based in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland who have been invited to play an international showcasing festival or conference such as SXSW, A3C, Eurosonic, Womex, Reeperbahn Festival and Folk Alliance International. Up to £5,000 is available as a contribution to travel, visas, accommodation and per diems. This year the International Showcase Fund has supported 36 UK artists to showcase at SXSW. Our most recent evaluation revealed that 91% of supported artists reported a clear business outcome from their showcase. “Receiving the funding has made all the difference in assisting me to achieve some of my most pivotal targets to date.” Novelist – supported to perform at SXSW in 2019. The International Showcase Fund is a partnership between PRS Foundation, Department for International Trade, British Underground, Arts Council England, the Musicians’ Union, PPL, Creative Scotland, Wales Arts International, Arts Council of Wales, Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Invest Northern Ireland.
