HENRY WILD FUR CO. Henry Wild Fur Company is a luxury fur home decor company based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. They create all of their blankets, pillows, and poofs out of 100% authentic arctic fur sourced from local Inuit tribes. Their main clientele are the local luxury hotels as well as wealthy tourists looking for a unique souvenir. Her goal for this brand identity was to create a modern and upscale logo to be used on her items’ hangtags as well as marketing material. We used a combination of modern sans serif fonts with classic serif fonts along with a clean “H” icon to create her new identity.
COYOTE’S STEAKHOUSE Coyote’s Steakhouse & Lounge is a (soon to be) newly refurbished restaurant in Yellowknife, NT. The previous building had been destroyed in a fire, so to accomplish the rebuild they hired repeat clients of mine, Henry Design Build Live. We created the new brand identity to symbolize the arctic north. Since the new aesthetic for the restaurant will be completely modern and sleek, we kept the design minimal as well.
A LOVE LESS ORDINARY This will forever be one of my all time favorite branding projects. A Love Less Ordinary is the wedding side of Cornwall based photographer Mike Searle’s studio. Mike’s work is primarily editorial, so his wedding photography looks like it was ripped right from a wedding magazine! We used a classic serif font for the monogram and mixed it with a pair of antlers to symbolize his love for taking these gorgeous photos in nature.
SAM & LOUISE Sam & Louise are Suffolk based husband and wife photography duo. They are an award winning team, specializing in candid, documentary style wedding photography. Louise asked me to create something that would capture both her and Sam’s style, so we went with a quirky slab serif font and used a line drawing wolf’s head as the icon. The wolf is a special symbol to them, as she used it as a theme in their own wedding. www.samandlouise.co.uk
DJOUR ENTERTAINMENT DJour Entertainment is an entertainment company for the modern bride and groom, knowing every client is different and the music we play and the vibe they set has to coincide with the rest of the event. Nora came to me to rebuild their extremely outdated website to one that was bright, feminine, and playful, just like them. The new site was built in Wordpress and plays to their quirky attitude. www.djourentertainment.com
WOW SUMMIT WOW Summit is an annual conference held by Moms Meet and May Media Group. The conference is for moms and mommy bloggers to connect with organic and ecofriendly companies to learn more about raising healthy families. Along with updating the Moms Meet logo, I also updated the WOW Summit logo to be bold and fun. The website is fully mobile responsive and is full of big beautiful images that showcase the event. www.momsmeet.com/summit16
ON THE KATTWALK On The Kattwalk is a fashion, beauty, travel, and lifestyle blog by Katherine Lauren, a Texas native living in LA. Her blog is unique in the fact that she posts videos of her outfits to show you what it really looks like in real life. Katherine came to me wanting to updating her branding to be more feminine and transfer her growing blog from Blogger to Wordpress. All of her posts features a “Shop the post section where her readers can shop her outfits or beauty looks. www.onthekattwalk.com
