Dig Deeper Campaign Dig Deeper and Stay Curious Every Client Has A Problem. Do You Know What It Is? Customer Focused Experiments in Progress by Lisa McPhail

Members of the Innovation team are experimenting on three new customer focused ideas generated as a result of direct customer feedback. Here are descriptions of each idea: Experiment #1: Leveraging technology to improve turnaround time on Loss Control recommendations The team will test the use of the Hi Marley texting application to follow up on Loss Control recommendations. The goal of the experiment is to achieve a faster response time from the insured on recommendation status. Texting on mobile devices provides simplified communication from insured by using mobile device to obtain/attach photos, invoices and inspection forms directly from a mobile device. Experiment #2: Incentivizing insureds to have water damage mitigation systems Explore potential partnership with water flow alarm vendors to incentivize insureds to install the systems. The experiment team will explore the options of providing improved pricing, or policy terms for insureds installing water flow alarm systems as a proactive approach to water mitigation. Experiment #3: Accelerated Quote Entry Work directly with agents to accelerate the response time/quoting time of new business submissions, alleviating the need for agents to use the online rating system and providing a 72 hour turnaround. The goal is to provide fast turnaround to new business opportunities while supporting our agent/partner resource and capacity concerns.

We asked Nadege: Why is it important to you to be actively engaged in Acadia’s Innovation efforts? "I believe that by sharing ideas on how processes can be improved and creating a more streamlined workflow, we can reduce wasted time and make processes more user-friendly. We have come a long way, and continuous improvement is the smallest change that adds up over time. Despite the fact that no process is perfect, there is always room for improvement. "
