A Letter from your Lieutenant Governor: Hello Division 34! I hope you all had an amazing April! Pretty sure a lot of you are prepping for all the testing coming up so I wish everyone good luck! Some goals I have for our division is to grow a stronger bond with everyone because we’re all a big family of sharks! Currently, we have about 305 members in our division and my goal by the end of the year is to reach 350 members. I also want to find more volunteer opportunities and fundraise more for our division so we can cover any funds such as DCMs, Food, Transportation, etc. I do have many more goals for our division but will be surprises for everyone so make sure to stay updated! Our Joint DCM with 19/36, 33, 35, and 38 on the 3rd of April was a success! It was so great to see everyone bonding together and having a friendly competition! Let’s not forget the LtG. Punishments at the end of the DCM. I can’t wait to show everyone what May has for us! There’s about one month left of school for about everyone so I wish everyone good luck, you’re almost there! As always, I hope you all have a wonderful day and a month full of productiveness! In Love and Service, Brittney Tran Lieutenant Governor of Division 34
A Letter from your Executive Assistant: Hey sharks! I hope the month of May has been treating everyone well. I know the past couple weeks have been extremely stressful due to AP testing. Let's just be glad that it's finally over and we can all take a break from school and finally chill and relax in the amazing weather we've been having. I hope to see you all at the May DCM so we can all soak our fins in the sun and talk about service. I'm personally really excited to eat some Chick-Fil-A and mingle with you guys because at the end of the day, I'd like to eventually get to know more about each and every one of you. And to all of my tennis players, I hope we can share with each other our embarrassing tan line and see who really got the worst tan line of the season. Executive Assistant, Shayla Trinh
A Letter from your Editor & Co-Editor: Hey sharks, How’s it going? Its your divisional editor here. I know ya'll are stressed out from testing but as you know, summer is coming up! Which also means rally season is too. So make sure to look your D34 spirit gear so our newsletters can look ... jaw-some c; Well, that all I have to say so have a great day!
Hello Division 34, Hope you guys did well on your exams so far and prepared for upcoming ones! heart emoticon As we are getting closer to summer, that means more DCMs and Rallies! If you are new or haven't attend any yet, I advise you to come. Our next DCM is on May 15th and hope to see you there :^)

Hello there my fellow PNW District Key Clubbers, Stella Gonzalez is the name and Key Club is my game. Service is something I have always valued over all other traits and I am very excited to serve as your Membership Growth and Reactivation Director for this upcoming year. Even though my title may seem long, convoluted and frivolous I assure you that my job is to help you guys make all of your jobs easier. My role will be to help charter new clubs, reactivate suspended or inactive clubs, and to generally oversee the growth of our very own Key Club family. Yes, I have a goal in mind to the amount of key clubbers I would like our district to achieve this year; but what is more important to me are the kind of people and personality traits we are adding into our district. The words you will hear from me a lot are -”quality over quantity” and that is a personal philosophy of mine that I think will apply well into the PNW District. I am so happy for this opportunity and extend the invitation for anyone to reach out to me if you have any ideas, concerns, input, etc. you would like to be heard. Call me, beep me, if you wanna reach me. With Love and Service, Stella Gonzalez PNW District Membership Growth and Reactivation Director Key Club International (425)499-9156 stella.pnwdistrict@gmail.com

By working with Audrey and the rest of the board, I hope to create fun informational videos/resources for you all to use to not only learn more about it, but also teach others too! I am so honored to have been appointed P.D and can’t wait to meet you all at the summer rallies and next year’s DCON! If you have any questions about my role as projects director, or would like to talk to a friend, feel free to email or message me any time! Simultaneously, I am the Lieutenant Governor of Division 35. If you have any question to what Key Leader is, please feel free to contact me at any time through email or phone. As a leader, I do not want followers, but to create more leaders. The Wilson High School Key Club in the past month has been serving the co various ways. One thing that they have been doing for a while is serving at t Rescue Mission. Every other Monday, a group of us goes to the Adam's Street to prepare and serve food for those in need. It is a great way to know that w doing is making a difference immediately. The group also helped out at the Marathon. We were able to direct traffic and cheer on the runners as they pa terrific way to do something as a group and just have fun. It was a really relax though, the runners were tired, they appreciated our support.
g Harbor High School Key Club, The 1st picture from left to right is of two of our ho volunteered at an Easter egg hunt. They set out signs, spray painted arrows ic, and helped at the info booth. The next three photos are of the joint Campus on project at our school. We coordinated with Interact, GHECO club, National y, and ASB to cleanup our school's campus. Capri Mayes, secretary, and Atalia asurer, took the lead and coordinated the whole event! At the end there was a of Popsicles to everyone who helped out! All together this event was great for out the grounds, unifying the school, and getting Key Club's name out there!

Fundraising Ideas Here are only a few ideas on how to fundraise for our District Project or for your school! Clean-Up Fundraiser Organize a community clean-up project, set goals for example a Dime for each pound collected; Make sure to contact any organizations who do clean-up projects! Fundraising idea Host a Karaoke Night! There’s a lot of Karaoke Buildings around the area that you can call and talk about wanting to Door to Door! Go around in your neighborhood and sell some type of merchandise or food! Car Washes! The Summer is a perfect time to host a Car Wash Fundraiser, you can wash cars for free and except donations or charge a certain amount for each car! Restaurant Take-Overs! Contact the Business and ask if they hold any Fundraising Nights! (Ex: Munchies, Chick-Fil-A, Krispy Kreme, Applebee's)
There are so many different ways you can fundraise and I only named a few! It may seem hard to come up with different ways but trust me, there are hundreds that are waiting to be used! Think outside the box!
