A Letter from your Lieutenant Governor: Hello Division 34! I hope everyone’s first day of school went well and that everyone is happy about their school year schedules! With the fall rolling in so quickly, so is due season! Make sure to pay for your key club dues to be an active member. Being an active member lets you be able to attend all Key Club events such as DCON. Early bird deadline will be November 1st and deadline will be December 1st. The earlier you get your dues in, the closer our seats will be at DCON! Guess what’s new? OUR PNW WEBSITE AND MERCHANDISE! Just go to our PNW Key Club website and check out our new merchandise, you won’t regret it! Stay connected by following all of Division 34 on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Team up. Even though summer has ended, there's still no end to Key Club events! We will be having fundraising events coming up so make sure to stay in tune. I hope you all have a wonderful month and until next month, have a great school year!
In Love and Service, Brittney Tran Lieutenant Governor of Division 34

A Letter from your Executive Assistant: What's Poppin Sharks! I hope the first week of school has been treating everyone well. For those who attended rally's and any other workshops this summer, I hope you took in all of the information that was given and reported it back to your club in order to make any improvements or changes in your club for the following year. This following week will be the last week of summer so go outside and enjoy the sunshine one last time before it's gone. Club visits are also coming around the corner and I'm very excited to see many of you guys at your very first club meeting of the year. Lastly, shout-out to class of 2017, let the senioritis begin.
In Love and Service, Shayla Trinh Executive Assistant
A Letter from your Editor: Hi Key Clubbers! Welcome to the start of a new school year, I hope you've all had a good one so far. It's recruiting season and I wish you all best of luck recruiting, but it shouldn't be too hard because why not join Key Club, right? Let's hope our D34 family keeps on growing! Our September DCM is coming up soon and I hope to see many of you there! Stay focused in school and have a good one! In Love and Service, Jessica Ngo-Ly Divisional Editor

All schools were present but 2 schools. We went over all Key Club basic information, plans for the upcoming school year, trained all officers that were present, and played some ice breakers.
Both Gig Harbor and Peninsula were present to this DCM. We had discussions on plans for this upcoming school year, trained the officers that were present, and went over basic Key Club knowledge.

CLUB SPOTLIGHT
Wilson High School We took part in the Tacoma half marathon and had an officer meeting to prepare for the upcoming school year.
Lincoln High School We planned for school year, and recruited a lot of potential members at freshmen orientation.
Foss High School Last month was a quiet month. One volunteer event we had was national night out and we helped out by blowing balloons up and handing them out. But other than that, this month was a time for planning for the new school year. We attended trainings from both Tacoma Rally and the DCM and we also planned out our first meeting which will happen on the Sept. 14!
Gig Harbor High School We had an Officer's meeting and we promoted our club at the club fair. We also helped out at National Night Out and Gear Up.
Fife High School Officers met up and sorted through past Fife key club records on the 23rd. The secretary and pres. went to our first DCM where we learned about training and met some other key clubbers! On the 30th the officers met up and we made posters and hung them around the school.

Foss High School
Maria Nguyen, Before her term ended as president
and she became a member, she signed our club up for Relay and signed herself up as team captain. She had the dedication to attend the Relay meetings necessary for our school to actually get informed and transfer the money. Without her Foss wouldn't have gone to Relay. IF YOU HAVE A NOMINATION, SEND THEM IN!

Gig Harbor High School Faith Dewitz, comes very prepared to our officers meeting with great insight and ideas for our upcoming school year. She also recently set up a new, beautiful website for the Gig Harbor Key club!
