BLANCHE VAN BERCKEL As the youngest daughter of a Diplomat, Blanche van Berckel truly qualifies as a global citizen, living across the world before returning to Netherlands as a teenager. Blanche was often called upon as a child to help her parents entertain at diplomatic functions and she credits this with giving her a love for service and hospitality, and it was this vocation that led to her developing a career in hotel management. Today, Blanche’s impressive career history reads like an A-Z of top international hotels, from the InterContinental Hotel Group to the smaller boutique offering of Blake’s Amsterdam. Ever the entrepreneur, Blanche has now consolidated her vast experience, along with her cosmopolitan flair and intrinsic understanding of what the modern traveller requires within BvB.

JEAN LAW DE LAURISTON A graduate from Glion Hotel School, Jean’s experience spans 15 years in business development for prestigious individual properties and global hotel groups including Rocco Forte Hotels. A multi-lingual entrepreneur, having lived in several cities including London, Paris, Brussels, Prague and Oslo, Jean is a natural relationship builder, Jean boasts an excellent network of contacts that he has built and nurtured. But it’s his hands-on approach as a confident and creative manager that make him stand out as a popular and experienced leader. Jean brings his extensive skills and experience, alongside a successful histor y of working w i t h Blanche van Berckel to BvB.
