THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION OF JAMAICA CHIEF COMMISSIONER’S CHRISTMAS MESSAGE

It is that time of the year again when we celebrate the birth of our Saviour. The story of Bethlehem, of Joseph and Mary anticipating the birth of their child, is at the heart of this holiday season. It is a time for giving, sharing and taking care of others. Let us at this time pause and think of those families who have lost loved ones and let us, as loving people, reach out to anyone who might have had a difficult year. Yes, we should turn our thoughts to consider those who are struggling, whether it is through the loss of a job, the loss of a loved one, floods or other tragedies. Looking out for one another, caring for the most vulnerable, welcoming strangers, and comforting those who are sick or suffering, are ways in which we can celebrate. However you choose to celebrate this holiday season, just make sure that you greet your loved ones by sending them a Christmas message that will touch their hearts and spread the Christmas Joy and happiness. Stay safe and happy. May you be blessed with the gifts of hope, love, joy and peace, which are the ingredients for a wonderful Christmas. A Very Merry Christmas to you and your family, and God bless you all.

Maurice A. Brown JP Chief Commissioner
