Getting back to your daily activities Your ability to return home is very important to us. Advanced technology is available to help with the retraining of your daily activities. When you are ready to go home, we will provide home safety evaluations to ensure a successful transition.

Treatment Team Members The first and most important member of our treatment team is YOU! We look to understand what activities you value. From there, the team builds a plan of care to help you reach your goals. The team collaborates daily and works together to help you meet your goals. Physiatrists Physiatrists are physicians specially trained in rehabilitation who coordinate your overall treatment and recovery process. Registered Nurses Rehabilitation registered nurses provide around the clock personal care and support. Our acute rehabilitation program has a low nurse to patient ratio. Physical Therapists Physical therapists help improve your mobility, including transfers, walking and stairs. Speech Language Pathologists Speech language pathologists work with you to improve your ability to speak, swallow, read, write and comprehend. They also help you work on your cognitive skills (the way you think).

Most of our patients return home or with family immediately following their rehabilitation stay. Therapeutic Recreational Therapists Therapeutic recreational therapists provide activities that enable you to return to social and leisure activities, as well as activities to reduce stress.
