Dear IFMSA-Egypt Fellows, It gives me pleasure and honor to apply for IFMSA-Egypt Project Support Division Director for the term 2013-2014. Taking this step, I want to let you know more about the motives that lie behind this decision. In the first place let me introduce myself, my name is Rami Abdallah Eissa, 6th year Medical Student, spending about 4 years in my faculty doing nothing rather than curricular activities made me discover that I've no positive charges towards my surrounding community. I started working for my beloved Local Committee BSSS 2 years ago I have joined Benha Medical School in 2007, I have taken a step by step through local, national and international levels. I have attended many national GA meetings, many national events and toke the international step by applying to be one of IFMSA international publications team to increase my experience and enhance my qualifications to be here when IFMSA-Egypt needs me. All these events increased my enthusiasm in a great way to get more and more involved. My first knowledge about project management was when I attended project management training conducted by Mr. Ahmed Hany “Certified IFMSA Trainer then being appointed as local coordinator for 2 project & National Coordinator for one project. During this time, I came to learn how projects should be tailored specifically for the coordinators, I learned that working on project management needs more professional work to produce what is needed for the audience, I learned how to work in a team with many different people with different personalities, I came more aware about the importance of capacity building and training as the only way to ensure sustainability and above all I became sure that to work on something effectively you should understand it very well and that's why I was really eager to learn everything about IFMSA. I wish I could work with the PPRC, our former Project Support Division Director Mr. Zeyad El Samadony & our IFMSA PSDD Mr. Karim Abu Zaid for producing the most qualified national coordinators for our national projects to raise the image of IFMSA-Egypt high more & more. I understand how IFMSA works; I'm really motivated to give the place that I belong to my effort and time because in one way or another, this is my home and my family. Keeping that in mind and considering my experience in this field I do feel that I'm the right person for this position. Yours truly;
Rami Abdallah
