When you visit Cairo you can see the history and modern architecture mixing together. Egypt had many capitals through its 7000-long history, all being in the area of Cairo for most of the millennia. Cairo remained the capital of Egypt having both Al-Azhar which is the minaret of Islam worldwide and the pope of Alexandria of the Coptic Christians, the largest Christian community in the Middle East and one of the oldest five churches in the world.

THE EGYPTIAN MUSEUM
One of the best museums in the world, having monuments from different eras and ages. There you can find statues of old pharaohs and for sure, the well-famed Tutankhamun treasures which were found in 1922.
EL-MU’IZZ STREET
The largest open museum for Islamic architecture worldwide, and one of Cairo’s oldest streets. It was built during the Fatimid Caliphate and comprises a lot of Historical buildings such as Bayt El-Suhaymi.

KHAN EL-KHALILI
The most famous Souk in Cairo, located in Islamic old Cairo and known for its exotic hand-crafted souvenirs: pyramids, papyrus, statues and much more. It’s also known for its silver workshops and traditional cafés of which “El-Fishawy café” stands out. Founded 1733, El-Fishawy café is the perfect place to enjoy the authenticity of Arabic coffee and Shisha.
AL-HUSSEIN MOSQUE
The Al-Hussain Mosque is a mosque built in 1154 The mosque is located in Cairo, Egypt, near the Khan El-Khalili bazaar. It is considered to be one of the holiest Islamic sites in Egypt.

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is a major library and cultural center .It is both a commemoration of the Library of Alexandria that was lost in antiquity, and an attempt to rekindle something of the brilliance that this earlier center of study and erudition represented.

ALEX. CITADEL OF QAITBAY
The Qaitbey Fort is one of the rare examples of the military constructions of the Mamluks in Egypt. Although the fort was badly damaged during the British attack on Egypt in 1882, many of the sections of the fort like the many chambers, the Mihrab of the mosque, and the structure as a whole survived in a fine condition until today. Enjoyed by children as much as by grownups, the fort is amazing and it also offers remarkable views of the Mediterranean Sea.
THE ROMAN AMPHITHEATRE OF ALEXANDRIA
The Roman Amphitheatre is one of the most popular monuments located in the city of Alexandria. It is the only one of its type in Egypt. Featured with its marble audiences section which is symmetrical with extended wing and could host up 600 spectators.

Alexandria Aquarium is a small museum, on Alexandria`s Eastern Harbor. The museum contains several species of creatures from the Mediterranean and Red Sea, in addition to some freshwater species from the Nile and the Amazon. A Marine Research Institute is enclosed within the museum.

uxor, which was once known as Thebes (the capital of Ancient Egypt) is located in Southern Egypt. This city is prominent for being an “open air museum” because of its unique archaeological monuments. Luxor is the second most visited tourist city in Egypt after Cairo. Extravagant monuments such as Karnak Temple, The Luxor Temple, Valley of Kings, Valley of Queens and many more are the reason for this. Another activity carried by most tourists visiting the city of Luxor is going on a Nile boat cruise from Luxor to Aswan. THE KARNAK TEMPLE Of all Luxor’s many monuments, the Temple Complex of Karnak has to be its most astonishing and beautiful feat. It represents the building activity of many successive rulers of Egypt, who vied with one another in adding to and adorning this great national sanctuary, which became the most important of Egypt’s temples during the New Kingdom. You need at least three hours to try and make sense of the entire complex.

LUXOR & ASWAN VALLEY OF THE KINGS
It was the final resting place for the kings of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties. Their main attraction is their wonderfully vivid wall paintings. Within the valley are 63 tombs that are a roll-call of famous names of Egyptian history, including the famous boy-king Tutankhamun.
EL NABATAT ISLAND
El Nabatat Island or Kitchener’s Island, is a small, oval-shaped island in the Nile at Aswan, Egypt. It is less than a kilometer long and its width is less than ½ a kilometer. The Aswan Botanical Garden is located on the island.

LUXOR & ASWAN THE TEMPLE OF HATSHEPSUT
The Temple of Hatshepsut is not only a memorial temple that honors Queen Hatshepsut, it is also one of the greatest Egyptian architectural achievements. Hatshepsut constructed many monuments and buildings. Hatshepsut’s Temple at Deir El Bahri is her greatest achievement. It took 15 years to complete. The site was chosen because of its prime location. The ancient Egyptians considered this valley to be sacred for its connection to the funerary goddess Hathor.
LUXOR TEMPLE
Luxor Temple is a large Ancient Egyptian temple complex located on the east bank of the Nile River in Luxor. Unlike the other temples in Luxor, Luxor temple is not dedicated to a cult god or a deified version of the king in death. Instead Luxor temple is dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship; it may have been where many of the kings of Egypt were crowned in reality or conceptually.

PHILAE TEMPLE
Philae Temple was originally located on an island that was known as Philae, in the Nile Valley south of Aswan. Philae Temple is actually many temples dedicated to more than one God. However, the main and largest temple in the complex was dedicated to the Goddess Isis, who was the wife and sister of Osiris and the mother of Horus, the falcon God. Isis temple with its huge pylons and beautiful scenes is considered as one of Egypt’s greatest temples.

The High Dam of Aswan is one of the most important achievements of the in the last century in Egypt, even for many years it was a symbol of the New Era of the Revolution of 1952. It provided Egypt with water and electricity and secured the country of the risk of the destructive inundation.
EDFU
Edfu is located 60Km to the north of Aswan. It was the 2nd Nome of Upper Egypt and the centre of the cult of a triad of Gods, which consisted of Horus of Behdet, Hathor, and their son, Hor-Sama-Tawy. Today, the most important monument in the city of Edfu is the Temple of Horus, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful and preserved Temples in Egypt.
KOM OMBO
The small town of Kom Ombo is situated on the East side of the Nile, 45 kilometers to the North of the city of Aswan. Kom Ombo is a pleasant agriculture town that now hosts many Nubians. The imposing Greco Roman Temple of Kom Ombo is featured with its marvelous setting directly overlooking the Nile. This is why a visit to the temple is usually included in all the itineraries of Nile cruises that sail from Luxor to Aswan and vice versa.

The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who reigned in Egypt during the Dynasty XVIII.
THE UNFINISHED OBELISK
The unfinished obelisk is the largest known ancient obelisk and is located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt in Aswan, Egypt.
