Hyaluronic acid of the third dimension The effective alternative to wrinkle injection treatment
Intensive sunbathing, water, heat and wind all have an impact on the skin causing it to become dry and flaky. These negative environmental effects as well as increasing age are the factors that reduce the hyaluronic acid content in connective tissue. Loss of tonicity, slack tissue and intensive wrinkling are the results. Use hyaluronic³ active ingredient system: multitalented hyaluronic acid in combination with instantly toning and lifting ingredients for youthful firm skin.
The benefit for you: hyaluronic³ (supports – smoothes – firms) Immediate and long-lasting lifting effect Face lifting without the necessity for surgery Skincare that is especially skin tolerant Free of parabens Free of PEG derivatives Free of mineral oils Non-allergenic

What makes our skin age? Do you remember what your skin was like when you were 20 years old? Most certainly it was firm and rosy as is typical for nearly all people of that age. It had well-developed resistant and could store sufficient moisture. Nature has come up with a very clever system to firm the skin and counteract natural evaporation. With hyaluronic acid and collagen – both are produced by the body itself – the skin remains firm and youthful naturally. Unfortunately, from the age of about 25 the body’s own production of hyaluronic acid and collagen, amongst other substances, declines. Hence, at the age of 40 for example, the body’s own hyaluronic acid production is only about 40% and at 60 it is only around 10%. The result: the interaction between hyaluronic acid and collagen no longer works smoothly – the consequences are skin lacking in elasticity, and wrinkling.
We always differentiate between two different causes of aging:
Aging Skin Aging is a natural and continous process, that normally begins in the mid. 20s.
Causes: hereditary factors free radicals hormonal disorders
Internal causes: Decline in cell density of the upper epidermis Decline in the collagen and elastic fibres in the lower epidermis Decline in hyaluronic acid content in the tissue
External causes: Stress, lack of sleep Smoking Damage to the connective tissue by UV light (sun) To counteract aging of the skin, être belle believes in a new interactive ingredient system – triply combined hyaluronic acid with bio-technological active ingredients.

Hyaluronic acid
Dermis
Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in various body tissues and fluids, e.g. in tears, in the eye, in cartilage and joints, and importantly in our skin. Here, hyaluronic acid molecules form the principal component of the filling material between the skin cells. Hyaluronic acid is also responsible for mechanical characteristics such as tensile strength and elasticity. Loss of this filling material results in a loss of skin volume and tonicity leading in turn to the development of wrinkles.

Structure and production Chemically seen, hyaluronic acid is a biopolymer (polymer = composed of many of the same units). This is a compound of chain and branched molecules, which are also made up of the same or similar units (disaccharide molecules). Hyaluronic acid is made up of several thousand identical disaccharide molecules, like a long string of pearls. The length of these "hyaluronic acid chains" determines its penetration power. Hyaluronic acid can be divided into high and low molecular weight molecules. Today, hyaluronic acid is produced through fermentation of bacterial strains. This bio-technological method of production guarantees the consistently high quality of hyaluronic acid.
Properties and effects Hyaluronic acid is capable of binding more water than any other natural or synthetic polymeric compound known to us today. 1g of hyaluronic acid can bind up to 3 litres of water. Owing to its enormous water binding properties, hyaluronic acid acts as a moisture retainer in the skin and sustains the tonicity and elasticity of the tissue there. Moreover, like most polysaccharides, it has the properties of a free radical scavenger and reduces skin irritations and the detrimental effects of the environment.

High molecular hyaluronic acid Effect: Intensively hydrating Forms a film on the skin surface, which does not, however, hinder cutaneous respiration and permits the circulation of light and air Immediate effect through moisture binding power and plumping up of wrinkles from the inside Smoothes the skin and lends it suppleness
Low molecular and liposome-encapsulated hyaluronic acid
Optimum penetration power in the skin Improvement in elasticity and tonicity of the tissue Revitalisation of the skin’s intercellular reservoir Creation of a moisture depot Wrinkles are plumped up from the inside Cosmetic alternative to wrinkle injection treatment
The combination of high molecular hyaluronic acid as a film former and low molecular hyaluronic acid as a water retainer as well as the liposome-encapsulated form as a carrier achieve the unique plumping and lifting effect in this series.
QuickliftTM
Jojoba oil
Quicklift™ is a xanthan polymer. It is an active ingredient based on glucose (polysaccharide). It forms a firming, invisible and permeable network on the skin and is characterised by its considerable water-binding properties. Owing to its strong surface tension, Quicklift™ forms an invisible moisture grid. The rapid and long-lasting lifting effect smoothes the skin surface and plumps up fine lines and wrinkles instantly. It acts like the skin of a fruit that is made of sugar, tightening the skin and lending it freshness and vitality.
Jojoba oil is derived from the olive-like fruit of the evergreen jojoba. This plant grows wild in the dry regions of California, Mexico and Arizona. Jojoba is a liquid wax that is temperature-resistant up to 300 °C and does not become rancid. It has many uses as a skincare component in emulsions. It leaves the skin silky soft and offers protection against the detrimental effects of the environment.
Sargassum bacciferum algae Durvillaea antarctica algae These algae belong to the genus of brown algae. They are characterised by a high content of trace elements, minerals, vitamins and proteins. Effect: Hydrating Increase in the elasticity of the skin’s horny layer Stimulation of the metabolism
Grape seed oil Grape seed oil is a valuable, cold-pressed oil derived from grape pips. Owing to its high polyphenol (including highly effective procyanidin) and tocopherol content, grape seed oil is considered to be an oil with exceptional antioxidative and cell membrane-protecting properties. It contains 90% unsaturated fatty acids and approximately 70% essential linoleic acid. Further active ingredients are the Vitamins A, C and E as well as minerals and trace elements.
Sea Buckthorn oil The fruit of the sea buckthorn is rich in vitamins (especially Vitamin C) and is therefore popular as a dietary supplement in the form of sea buckthorn juice or liqueur. The oil derived from the seeds is rich in essential fatty acids such as linoleic acid and Beta-Carotene. Moreover, the oil promotes the healing of wounds. Effect: Calming, wound-healing properties Keeps the skin soft and supple Is used to treat atopic eczema
Squalane Squalane is a low-viscosity, transparent oil derived from olives and wheatgerm. It has excellent skin tolerance, smoothes rough, cracked skin and is characterised by its high absorbency.

QuickliftTM Day & Night Serum
An intensively hydrating day and night cream. Triply active hyaluronic acid complexes act in an intelligent multi-stage system providing staggered release of hyaluronic acid to the different layers of the upper epidermis. A moisture depot is created in the epidermis thus plumping up fine lines and wrinkles from the inside. Valuable grape seed oil, rich in antioxidants, jojoba oil and squalane enhance this formulation. Facial contours are re-sculpted and the complexion appears fuller and smoother. Premium oils lend the skin a velvety, supple feeling. For increased youthfulness and freshness all day.
A plumping, smoothing, triply active care serum with hyaluronic acid and Quicklift™. In an intelligent multistage system, hyaluronic acid replenishes the skin’s own moisture depots. Quicklift™ has a face-lifting effect without the need for surgery. The invisible firming matrix contained in Quicklift™ is rapidly absorbed by the skin giving it an instantly long-lasting firmer and tighter appearance. The tonicity and elasticity of the tissue are increased. Skin texture becomes smoother and suppler and wrinkles appear plumped. The complexion gains in youthfulness and vitality.
