RAFAEL NADAL IS ONE OF THE GREATEST TENNIS PLAYERS IN THE HISTORY AND ONE OF THE GREATEST ATHLETES OF THE 21ST CENTURY.

The Mallorcan tennis player’s career began as a child, at four years of age. His uncle Toni was his coach and has been by his side throughout his career to be a better person and player. When he was little, Uncle Toni, instead of motivating him with flattery, made him think about: “Why did the ball miss, why did I miss that shot, why did that happen, why did that player beat me, why am I not good enough?”.

His goal was to make his nephew really good and thus he managed to win Rafael Nadal his first Roland Garros title at the age of 19, in the presence of the then King of Spain, Juan Carlos I and with Zinedine Zidane, his soccer idol, who handed over the trophy. At 22 he was already number one in the ATP world rankings.

Toni never let Rafa believe he was more than anyone and surely part of Nadal’s sporting success is due to the way his uncle has educated and trained him. “We also train Rafael’s mental strength, everything in life is trained” says Toni.

TWO LOVES: TENNIS AND SAILING. Recently, at the Monaco Yacht Show, the Sunreef 80, Rafael Nadal’s super yacht, was exhibited, which was delivered to him in Mallorca during the month of June 2020.

The boat named Great White, has capacity for 8 guests, a bright lounge, a dining room in the bow area with two 77-inch televisions installed one behind the other and an additional resting place next to the entrance to the bow terrace .

Beneath the large sofa, the Great White’s aft garage hides a jet-ski and a selection of water toys to help you enjoy your stay. A large hydraulic bathing platform has been installed to carry the yacht’s dinghy and offer an additional spot for waterside sunbathing.

The flybridge offers guests an outside lounge, bar, dining area, large sun loungers and a television. The ‘Great White’ propulsion has two 1200 horsepower engines that allow a maximum speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots.
