THE BALCONY TEST.

ON MAY 6, 2023, THE STREETS OF LONDON WERE FILLED WITH THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WHO HAD COME TO WITNESS THE CORONATION OF THEIR NEW MONARCH.

The event was witnessed by members of the royal family, dignitaries, heads of state from around the world and tuned in by a global audience.

The ceremony was rich in tradition and typical British pageantry. The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, Primate of the Anglican Church, presided over the coronation, which took place in Westminster Abbey, one of the most iconic and historic buildings in the country.

CHARLES III wore the traditional royal regalia, including a crimson tunic, jeweled crown, and scepter. As the crown was placed on his temple, eyewitnesses paid tribute as bells tolled across the City of London.

One of the most significant moments of the coronation was the oath of allegiance, in which the new monarch swore to abide by the laws of the kingdom. The King pledged to serve the people of the United Kingdom with honour, integrity and humility. This moment was a reminder of the importance of the British monarchy in maintaining the constitutional and political stability of the country.

After the oath, the monarch was presented with the symbols of his authority: the orb, the sword of state, and the royal scepter.
