Welcome to the new season Here comes the sun, and we have a sizzling summer season ready and waiting - jump in, and join us for a great night out at Mid-Ulster’s premier theatre, arts and cultural venue. The Cookstown Comedy Festival is back with a bang this year, featuring stand-up from the Perrier Award winning Irish comedian David O’Doherty, the brilliant Ardel O’Hanlon and headlining the three-day Festival run is Dundrum’s finest and internationally successful comedian, Patrick Kielty. The laughter continues as Burnavon regulars, The Belvoir Players take to the stage in August with the hilarious comedy drama ‘Allo ‘Allo. Emerging local talent also has the chance to shine this season as Sean Donnelly’s new play Socially Awkward plays a summer run in August, Caroline Creggan Dance School, Lissan Primary School and Holy Trinity Primary School perform in their individual showcases, and the Superstars Club bring you their unique version of ‘A Greek Wedding’. We’ve also got music covering a breadth of styles from The Sperrin Choir, Lisa McHugh, and Country stars including Eamon McCann.
