kay, so this is some sort of rant about something that happened around Christmas time in a Cardiff shopping centre.

O
kay guys and girls, some of you were asking for some party food type of things and here’s one that is very tasty and very indulgent.
I’m just writing this as I go along, nothing planned, so sorry if there’s anything that makes no sense. It was a week before Christmas and my mother, stepdad, gran, dad and I decided to go Christmas shopping. We went to the St David’s 2 shopping centre and because my dad has walking difficulties he decided to take a rest and sit down. Now, my dad is an expert at photography he’s a retired professional photographer and used to own his own company and all that.
Two policemen surrounding him.
He takes his camera everywhere as it’s still his hobby. He decided to take some photos of the decorations around him. Meanwhile, I was walking from HMV over to the Disney Store (come on, you should know me by now) when I saw two of the managers and two policemen surrounding him.
In a small mixing bowl add all dry ingredients and whisk thoroughly. Slowly add your milk, whisking continuously. Pour mixture into your saucepan. Add to the heat and whisk slowly until mixture has reached the boil. Simmer until mixture begins to thicken. Once mixture has reached the consistency of a thick custard, spoon out into the shot glasses.
Diary Of A Mixed-Up Girl: Life Change My heart is pounding. Just a little bit longer until I know if it’s definite. You’d think I would have some support through this. Someone special by my side,
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder (or hot chocolate powder) 2 tablespoons of Horlicks powder (or another malt drink) 2 tablespoons of Ovaltine powder 2 tablespoons of corn flour 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar 1 pint of milk Extra thick double cream (to garnish) Cocoa powder (for decoration) 1 saucepan 1 whisk 12 shot glasses

Here I sit alone, anxiously. This little device can predict what could be a huge part of my life. All of this is one big, huge mistake. I’m too young for this. All of this was totally unintentional. I was at a party, one I didn’t really fancy going to. But it was an old friend of mine’s 18th and I couldn’t say no to going. I sat
with a few people I barely knew and we became better friends throughout the night. They ended up buying a few drinks for me. I didn’t want to refuse them because everyone else was having a couple, so I didn’t want to seem the loser. Then this guy started to buy me some. Invisible Illness

rowing up with an illness that’s invisible is hell.
It all started a couple of years ago when I was rushed in to Liverpool’s Children Hospital, Alder Hey, and I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. The condition, unheard of by most people, is a condition that doesn’t have many visible symptoms. That’s the problem, you see: ‘no visible symptoms’. Read more at http://bit.ly/invisible-illness

When I’m unable to attend school because of the illness I often receive comments stating that “I look fine...” and “there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with you”. Well, actually - there is! The pain I feel when trying to prove my illness is awful. Having to repeat the words “I am ill, but you just can’t see it” is getting ridiculous. Even teachers frown upon me going home from school, they tend to say, “well you looked fine this morning”.

ords are funny things. Each word can mean a myriad of things on paper, and then homophones, when one word can be spelt different ways to mean different things, like hair and hare, add to the whole confusing bunch. Some words in English can’t even be translated into other languages, like serendipity. Some words in Welsh can’t be translated into English, like hiraeth. It’s such an abstract concept that it’s only found
in Portuguese. I can’t pin the exact meaning down, but it means a longing for something that can be either in the past, or in the present, and it can occur at any time. But some words are international and transcend realms of cultural understanding and history. Words like the N-word, and the P-word, an abbreviation of the word Pakistan. hat a night! You turn up and it’s like a circus outside, you get in and there were so many crazy hats it was unbelievable! I was so excited for it. I was even at the pick-up place 15 minutes early! When we finally got to Cardiff Museum, the boys from Flintshire found me straight away, so I said hi, and we then ventured off through the crowd to find more friends from CLIC. Although it was freezing outside, and we were all shivering, for some reason the only thing anyone could say was “Where’s Dan, and what is he wearing?!” – this was even the main topic for conversation when the circus acts were jumping off the handles on the stairs. Our hosts for the evening, Danial Evans and Beth Owen from Anglesey, both did a brilliant job of presenting the show and handing out the awards. It was an amazing night, with amazing live music and a room full of winners. I can’t wait ‘till next year, and I best start getting articles sorted now – those trophies looked really good! epression. Yes, I said it. The taboo word.
In today’s society you’d think that what with aliens appearing in London... oh no, wait that’s Doctor Who, never mind…anyway, you’d think that in today’s society that mental health would be something that we could talk openly about. But no! Depression is seen as people moping about, feeling sorry from themselves. But it is not. Imagine this. How would it feel to wake up and not have the emotional strength to get out of bed? To face people? To think that time is just passing by with no real reason? To feel so alone even when you are sitting in a room full of people? To have to put on a face and hide your feelings because in your mind you think no one would care anyway? To lose friends because you can’t find the strength to go out and you can’t physically be ‘happy’? “I feel honoured that my work is going to be published,” says Kira. “I’m very happy that my work won and I love the way it turned out. My design was based on anime, and was inspired by my friends. My art is based on my personal feelings. I enjoy trying out different facial expressions of the anime characters. Their eyes, for example, can show a lot of emotion. et your diaries out, my friends, and draw a little cigarette with a cross through it against Thursday 4 April 2012. Why? Because it’s Kick Butts Day. The day is a partnership between Tenovus and Ffaith (ASH Wales Youth Programme), with the latter having the objective of reducing the acceptability and use of tobacco products by the young people of Wales. The day will be full of activities, and will allow you to learn about the ill health caused by the use of tobacco along
with the wider subjects of the tobacco industry in peer groups and local communities. It’s rather shocking to see the statistics concerning tobacco use by the youth of Wales, with children as young as seven starting smoking. Blimey. Reports state that among Welsh 15-yearolds, 14% of girls claim to smoke regular. It’s no better for the boys, with 9% of them reporting regular smoking. t was a Friday and after some hard persuasion from a friend of mine, I located myself into the pub with her rather than last lesson. We ordered our drinks, mine was none other than half a John Smith’s. We swiftly waltzed through the venue scowling for a place to sit until we bumped into my friend’s friend. We slid into the same booth and began a conversation. He was dressed down in only black, sported several misplaced tattoos upon his arm and darted his glare towards me as he sparked a debate: love.
Now, if you have read my other articles, you know I can moan and cry about this topic for decades, but please don’t dismiss this one, keep reading because it gets interesting. Read the full story at http://bit.ly/HaventMet-You Get info on relationships at http://bit.ly/FamilyRelationships

Sexual Abuse: The Effects Posted by Black_Star from Powys Hi everyone! Where to begin? I am now 18. When I was a little girl my mum and dad split. My dad remarried, and so has my mum. I was responsible for kicking a guy in the face because he said, “Girls are stupid.”
When I was a little girl I was free. When I was a little girl I felt alive. Aged 13, my dad took me and stepmum on holiday. My first ever holiday - wow! It will be one I’ll never forget, for the wrong reasons.
I locked it away for two and a half years. I wasn’t the sweet little girl anymore. I was tainted so I acted accordingly. I was loud, violent and angry. I was responsible for kicking a guy in the face because he said, “Girls are stupid.”
Eight pints and several shots poured in to my system. I can’t remember much, but he sexually abused me.
I dragged guys down the corridors. I kicked doors. I didn’t care, but I wasn’t sure why.

few months ago I decided to start writing an online blog in the hope I could help people by telling my own personal story. People don’t seem to realise the longterm affects of bullying and schools certainly don’t do enough to help those being bullied and to stop the bullying. Every school has an anti-bullying policy but not every school sticks to this. There is a lot more some schools could do to make sure bullying is stopped in their school.
underneathmymask.wordpress.com is my blog. I named it this because I know that victims of bullying feel they have to wear a mask, a mask to hide the pain from the bullying. In the blog I talk about lots of different things around the subject of bullying. I post a lot: being in the position of the person being bullied, either by posting a day in their life, the long term affects caused by bullying or the things that have changed because of the bullying etc.

Do you know what it is like to have a disability? What if you have to be dependent on others because of a disability? Many people have disabilities but they have got the same rights as you. Some people have a disability or a learning difficulty and you will not know by looking at them. That is why they have put in the Equal Opportunities Act, where employers have to abide by it and treat everybody the same. But what if you were born with a disability?
When you are born with a disability, you do not know what it is like to be able-bodied. Depending on the depth of your condition, you may need
When this happens you are faced with limitations to depend on your parents, your friends, or anybody who is around you. When this happens you are faced with limitations in which you can not do anything.

The Green Deal is an initiative being planned by the Coalition Government which will operate across the housing and commercial property sectors in the UK.
Posted by steampunk13 from Bridgend (bwsted.co.uk)
It is part of the wider Energy Bill 2010. The UK Government has developed the idea of The Green Deal as a way to address the current lack of investment in energysaving measures in both domestic and nondomestic property.
I want you to leave, But I know You can’t be forgotten. I want to you stay, But I know You’ll never feel the same. Why won’t you ever feel the same?
It attempts to encourage homeowners to consider making their homes greener. The scheme will enable those interested to take out a special loan in order to carry out work like loft insulation or solar panels etc.
There are days I feel All is lost And nothing can be forgotten. Each moment I live, I know what I feel, Even when you walk the other way.
The loan would not be attached to a person, but to the property, and would be paid back through the savings such work would provide. Instead, payments for the improvements will be recouped through a charge in instalments attached to the customer’s energy bill and repaid over a number of years.
I don’t feel ashamed That I never had the chance to hold you. I don’t feel ashamed That I never had the chance to hold you. I swallowed my pride. Set free. And you’ll never understand. It’s all I need. Control. So I let you drift away. I don’t feel ashamed That I never had the chance to hold you.
