On the Right Track The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is a Formula 1 motor racing event that took place for the first time in 2021. A large part of the credit for its success goes to the Saudi Motorsport Company that implemented the project in record time, with passion, enthusiasm and determination. n 2021, Saudi Arabian hosted its first Grand Prix at the new Jeddah Corniche Circuit – set to become the longest and fastest street circuit in the world. It was the fifth full-night race title on the Formula One calendar, following the Singapore, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, and Qatar Grand Prix. Needless to say, a lot of hard work and intense efforts preceded the event. The time scale itself represented a considerable challenge – the track and the facilities had to be prepared in less than nine months.
