The Gallery was designed to create an ideal environment for exhibiting works in wood and other media. It was built in 1994 from Australian materials: Jarrah posts, beams and staircase; Tasmanian Oak floors; ebonised Victorian Ash window and door frames; and New South Wales Flooded Gum wall panelling.
We have an extensive up to date web page that assists ordering by e-mail or phone. We offer lay-by, gift vouchers, local delivery and international shipping services. The Gallery and Café both have wheelchair access.

WHY A GALLERY IN BUNGENDORE? Artistic Director and founder, David Mac Laren, opened the Gallery in an historic building opposite the present Gallery in 1983. “When I moved from New York City to Bungendore, I wanted a space to display my furniture as well the work of other makers from the Region. This is where I wished to live and work. I believed that our gallery could prosper in a village setting. If we represent the best possible woodcraft in the best possible way, then people will seek us out. And they have.” Kings Highway Bungendore NSW Australia 2621 www.bungendorewoodworks.com.au gallery@bwoodworks.com.au
