The Woods Audio Recording
I I I I I I
see see see see see see
the plants slowly dying. the grass turning a dark brown. trees changing from green to red and yellow and then to brown. the squirrels gathering nuts for hibernation. the small little sliver of the moon. the millions of stars in the night sky as plentiful as atoms in the human body.
I I I I I I
hear hear hear hear hear hear
the soft chirp of crickets. the occasional frog ribbit. bugs buzzing. the melody of birds singing. a lonely owl hooting. the rustling of trees in the wind.
I I I I
feel feel feel feel
the cold wind on my skin. a leave hit my leg on its travel from the top of a tree to the ground. the cold grass on my feet. an inch worm on my foot.
I smell the pine trees' wood. I smell a fire off in the distance. I smell cold air in my nose. I taste the air in my mouth which has a strange indescribable taste. I taste the smoke from the fire off in the distance.
A Fate Which None Can Escape Audio Recording
Death is a fate which none can escape Death is something that we all fear even when we say we don’t Death can strike at any time anywhere Death is cold, heartless and absorbs all things Death is a silent meaningless pit which none can escape Death takes the fun, the joyousness out of life, but Death also takes away the misery and pain It is just a matter of time before we all confront death face-to-face And when you do you will fight But it is useless for it only stalls, postpones, slows, temporarily avoids For it does not stop death and even when you’ve thought you’ve won Death will only come another day when you are too weak to continue and finally strike you down.
My House Audio Recording
In my front yard the grass is turning brown The trees are changing colors The flowers have stopped blooming and are starting to fall off And squirrels and the rabbits have stopped running around. In my driveway is a blue and a silver car It has a pile of gravel on it My driveway is as grey as an elephant And it has a basketball hoop on it. My back yard is shaded The grass is a dark green The woods are plentiful with trees of all sizes And there are holes everywhere where rabbits are hibernating. In my house it is clean but cluttered There is a new powerful and full of life air conditioning unit And there are freshly washed clothes everywhere.
