People cheer as Ray skips onto the court Ray is loved because he is not at all short They think of him as the great and mighty Drew Gooden So tall that most people's faces are at his super strong tall shins By the way, Ray stands a little over 5'10'' One of the strongest 8th graders you'll ever see The guy that all 6th and 7th graders want to be Doing his warm-ups, ignoring the crowds noisy comments The opposing team thinking that they might win….. That’s nonsense The horn sounds and the referee throws the ball The referee laughs but doesn't make a call His team wins the tip-off and he dribbles down the lane Everyone is so hype, their energy level is insane Ray calls play #237 and run a pick and roll to the small forward, Kinsten He looks in the stands and winks at his running buddy Tristen Its 2 to 0 Lakers are winning to a team that will leave the court with their poor heads spinning The opposing team's shooting guard breaks Dequans ankles and puts them on hold He blocks his shot, grabs the ball and drives in for layup strong and bold The game progresses until half time The team snack is teddy grahams and delicious green lime It is now the 4th quarter with 2:02 to play Coach is getting worked up and his sweat is mixing with his hair spray Ray wants to break 30 points but only has 26 points in the game Ray is starting to think that passing is lame so he takes the ball and makes a shot in the lane He has 28 pts with 43…42…41… seconds to go. Their point guard is waiting out the clock and throws an alley to a guy named Joe 13 seconds left on clock we call a time out and make the numbers *STOP* We pass the ball in to Vincent who shoot it up but Ray puts the ball back and there it goes, pop! WWWWhhhooooooo!!! Screams coach who drops his clipboard and runs around Ray hit 30 points and feels like he should be crowned Remembering who got him here this far in his career Ray drops to his knees and prays to Jesus to keep him here

He had a determined look on his face, like a strong wrestler after he drinks his protein shake He jumps in the air three times and does a few high knees Then he looks in the stands to find his mom and dad He finds them and waves, then he prays "Dear god thankyou for this day, please help me to run the best I can", he says He is nervous but is ranked number one based on his time The man says "runners take your mark"……. "get set"………………pow goes the gun He is off currently in second place He stays right behind the guy from Triangle Champions He is on the front stretch about to go into his second lap He feels good and thinks he can keep his place He starts to make his move when he hears the bell ring He starts to run around the Triangle Champions boy but he cuts him off So he pushes even harder and gets in front of him It is about the 200 meter mark and he is starting a dash He sprints and feels like his legs are turning into big metal cylinders like the ones you see on the greek temples 50 40 30 meters to go and the Triangle Champions kid is on his heels He dives for the finish and gets a PR which is 1:58.94 His coach is so happy he jumps out of the stands to give him a hug He… is… fast!

My name is Kendrick AKA "Swaggy K" I really like music and my favorite singer is Nicki Minaj I have been waiting to meet her my whole entire life Now I have the chance, with the backstage pass in my hand I enter the door There are a few people that look like they might be makeup artists Walking around behind the stage, it kind of feels like when I am at home looking for candy in my dad's closet I see a big wardrobe that has a handle shaped like an "N" That must be Nicki's wardrobe I stare at it with my mouth open The show is about the start, I take a quick peek at the audience and there are over a million people there I turn around and there is a lady in all red with super tall high heels and hoop earrings behind me Aahhhh! I scream, I know I've just ruined my first experience meeting a star She looks at me and laughs She shakes my hand I try to start a conversation All that comes out is um.. “Hi.. Yeah… haha… heh… yeah” Oh gosh I'm so scared Maybe after the show I won't be as scared She laughs again and walks away onto a small circle in the floor I've seen this before The circle lifts her up and she comes down on the stage with her red mike I look through the curtains as she starts to sing Pills n Potions I stare in awe “Wazza kid”, comes a voice behind me Whoa it’s a bear with gold teeth and long dreads Oh its Lil' Wayne I really don’t care because I don’t like lil' wayne “Watchu doing”, he says “I am watching Nicki sing” I keep watching for about another 45 minutes and then she sings her last song Nicki and I say hi to each other and she introduces me to her family I text my friends all the selfies I take with her They all text OMG back I say bye and then halfway across the stage, I faint
