Poem 2 A Movie in the Stars
I sat down on the balcony of my bedroom Gazing at the sun The way it changed twice a day Was a gorgeous piece of art It was blaring It looked like it was so hot, that it was burning it's self I could tell it was the start of the sunset That color became darker and darker until it was an orange-red I watched as they mixed and mixed just like someone was stirring them in a bowl The clouds were disappearing and the light started to turn pink It was a light pink, so soothing to look at Then it turned into a bloody red So evil looking As it darkened and darkened into a dark blue I now could see the moon, just barley noticeable Which was getting brighter and brighter and the sky got darker and darker It started to get chilly and very breezy Soon it was so dark that it was considered black The darkness was coming to take over the world There was no escape The beautiful colors was now gone And now there was nothing to see at all
I tried to go back into my room, but the door had locked I was trapped by the darkness I lied down and covered my face "Please save me light I cried as the wind ticked my face Eventually I could see the darkness getting lighter into a dark blue The light is coming The sun has come to save the world I could see the light trying to sneak in But the darkness was strong and held back They fought and fought For hours and hours And throughout that fight, some of the darkness died The light became stronger and stronger The darkness became weaker and weaker until it was a perfect blue Then I could see, the sun coming It had defeated the darkness after all My tears had vanished Now filled with happiness As I watched the colors on the sunset return as a sunrise I was now safe and sound and found myself asleep the moment I found out
Poem 1 Long Gone Since that day Nothing has been the same
I fell into a black hole With nowhere to go I lost you forever No way to come back together I miss your protective bark I miss walking with you to the park I want to be able to hug you one more time Tell you that I love you, and that you will always be mine I was trapped in my sadness With no hint of happiness I could not find the key to the door out Nothing to do but scream and shout The darkness has haunted me ever since Nothing to comfort me through this ` My old world is gone Nothing now can turn me back on I know that there is no way But I just have to say Please come back
Poem 3 Have you seen my missing cat?
DAY 1 Have you seen my missing cat? He is wearing a hefty hat Tied to him is a big bat Which I use if he needs a smack DAY 2 Have you seen my missing cat? Yes the one wearing a hefty hat He such a big brat So sometimes I yell at him so he may respond to that DAY 3 Have you seen my missing cat? Yup that's the one, wearing a hefty hat He sort of looks like a naked rat Because I shaved off his ugly fur DAY 4 Have you seen my missing cat? I already told you, the one with the hefty hat The one I sometimes use as my welcome mat He really collects dirt well DAY 5 Have you seen my missing cat? He is wearing a hefty hat I don't why he ran away There is nothing left for me to say Oh wait! He must just have hated that hefty hat
