Sleep Audio for Poem

It pulls me in Like the waves of an ocean, My eyelids start to droop As the current washes me away Into its never-ending depths. Fish of many different colors swim before my eyes, Turtles dance among the coral reefs, Dolphins spiral alongside me. But sometimes, The tides crashes me into a different direction, Away from the bright fish, Away from the turtles, Away from the dolphins, And onto the ocean floor where sharks roam. Gliding around me, snapping their jaws, Cold eyes sending shivers down my spine Arguing over who gets what part, And just when they're about to close in, Licking their lips maliciously, I am dragged back to shore, Safe and sound.

New on Another Planet Audio for Poem

I shuffle along these halls, Feeling like a fish on Mars. These aliens feel strange to me With their squiggly antennas, Green skin. I don't know their ways, Don't understand their customs. I try to smile, But they don't smile back, Just ignore and turn away. I am left in the corner, Feeling the stares from their three-eyed heads, Piercing my back, Their laughter buzzing in my ears, As they hum jokes in their own groups, With their own place

While I am alone, Deserted, Rejected, Secluded. When I feel something tapping my back; Turning around, I am drawn out of my corner.

Ode to Lychee Coconut Jelly Audio for Poem

Fresh from the Grand Asia Market, In a plastic box, tightly packed With thirty or so inside, All waiting to be opened. We take a whiff And the sweet aromatic odor fills our nostrils As we stare, fidgety with excitement, Like twitching bunnies All waiting to crack open the delicious jelly inside. As the box slowly turns open, All hands reach in, Quick as lightning, Grabbing as many containers as possible.

The covers are discarded And the Lychee Coconut Jellies Are popped into anxious mouths, Sending thrills to delighted taste buds As the juice explodes onto our tongues. We close our eyes, Savoring the succulent flavor While drooling excessively Down our chins, But hands keep reaching in, Snatching the last of the jellies, Until finally, We lay satisfied With full bellies And elated grins.
