Running Audio for Poem
Whistle blowing, ears ringing, heart pumping. My legs pound steadily on the open glade. All I can perceive is the rhythm of my breathing. My legs burn relentlessly. My throat grows dry, like it hasn't seen water. I have no idea how much longer, But I keep going. I feel my feet moving aimlessly, My mind disconnected from my body. They start to slip on the coarse gravel, But I keep going. Asphalt to grass to mulch, I lose track of time and distance. My body starts to wobble, But I keep going. The path changes direction. My strides are matched by a blur of hair and flesh.
All I can think of is the end, But I keep going. A flash of royal blue. That blur accelerates. A surge of energy and vengeance pulses through my veins. I start kicking hard, determined. Faster and faster and faster, My body tightens with effort. The finish line flies towards me, Everything goes black.
Time Audio for Poem
It glitters like the most valuable jewel, Yet it passes by unnoticed. Time incites us to action, And wrenches the tears from our eyes It is tauntingly abundant when we could go without it. And painfully scarce when we need it the most. Why is something that regulates our lives Only an illusion? That incessant tick of time creeping by Taunts our minds and pounds in our eardrums Time is omnipotent, indomitable. It masks its austerity with cute little units called seconds. It is a sly snake that creeps up on us. We are slaves to the mandate of time.
Its deity is overwhelming, Patronizing us mortals with its crown and scepter. But time is perpetual. Time cannot be vanquished.
Chocolate Audio for Poem An interlude of flavors Interlocking in pure harmony A symphony of the senses The aroma of fresh soil The distinctive taste of honey I enter a dreamy reverie of euphoria The cool morsel liquefies Delicious flavor envelopes my taste buds As I reach nirvana I feel safe and secure Like every bite is a fuzzy blanket of warmth All my worries vaporize My new energy emerges A seedling lifting towards the sky Chocolate heaven
