Singlemode Loose Tube fibre (OS2) aimed at LAN and WAN backbones, telecoms, as well as Fibre to the Building (FTTB) and Fibre to the Home (FTTH). Ideal for internal and external applications the tough sheathing compound is LSHF and UV resistant. Fibres are contained in a gel filled tube to prevent moisture ingress.

Tight buffered cables hold the Fibres in a bedding or buffering of aramid or glass yarn. This has the advantage of not containing gel making termination easier and is ideal for indoor applications. The Tru range of OS2 Tight buffered fibre cables are designed for LAN and WAN backbones, particularly in commercial applications such as Data Centres where it is installed on trays or dry ducts. The cable can be run outdoors due to the tough, water resistant UV stable jacket.
