The retrospective exhibition BAQ40 YEARS, is a journey through the history of the Pan-American Quito Architecture Biennale(BAQ), the first international architecture event in the region initially projected on an Andean scale as an initiative by the Ecuadorian Architects Association “Colegio de Arquitectos del Ecuador Provincial de Pichincha� (CAE-P). The BAQ40 YEARS exhibition of the Pan-American Quito Architecture Biennale, displays a timeline throughout the years showcasing all edition posters, a selection of participating and winning projects, images and memorabilia. This sample, reflects on the transcendency of design, displaying different thematic positions and each momentum of architecture produced in the American continents over the past 40 years.
