As of May 31, 2020, the total of doses administered was 5,180,721 averaging daily for the last seven days was 144,402. 3,974,350 people got the first dose while 1,206,371 people got the second dose. For week one there were 37,280 doses and for week 13, the doses were 1,010,816.

In the sense of urgency in tracing and tracking people infected with COVID-19, Marikina City has now implemented the Quick Response (QR) Code system on May 3, 2021 with the use of the Stay Safe Program provided by the DILG to all LGUs.
It is said that the Management Information System (MIS) will be handling the registration for the city officials/ employees through the IT officer/ s designated in each office/ department effective immediately.
Signed by the acting city administrator and city personnel officer, Janet S. Obispo, the memorandum was for all the city?s officials and employees.
The proper publication for the implemented memo shall be done by all heads of department and office to all employees under their jurisdiction.
The government is urging eligible populations belonging to priority groups A1 to A3 to register, get vaccinated, and complete the required number of doses as scheduled. The vaccinated population is also urged to continue practicing the minimum public health standards as you may still get infected with COVID-19 and infect other people.
