FOOD VENDOR RULES & REGULATIONS October 14, 2012
Food Items: Sale of water, soda, lemonade, beer, wine, alcohol or drinks of any kind are not allowed. The committee reserves the right to remove questionable food items or displays. There will be a mandatory food vendor meeting prior to the event at 9:00 am to coordinate food items and regulations. We encourage a variety of food items so not to overlap other booths. Booth Setup and Display: Booth setup begins at 7:00 am. Vendors must register with the event coordinator no later than 8:00 am on the day of the festival. Vendor booths must remain intact until the festival concludes at 5:00 pm. Vendors may walk booth components out of the area, but no vehicles will be allowed until 6:00 pm. Only vehicles with a vendor permit card will be allowed on the grounds between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Vendors are responsible for their own tables, chairs, coverings, etc. Tents must be secured without impeding fire lanes. There will be no electricity supplied. Generators cannot exceed 65 decibels. Due to the uneven surface of streets, leveling materials may be needed. Booths are encouraged to have visibility from front to back so the shops and business on Troy Street can be seen from the front of the booth. Parking is first come, first served on the day of the event. Booth Size: Space size is approximately 10’x10’. Sidewalks and walkways are to remain free of all items. Booths are located on Troy Street. Booths will be placed on a first come, first booked (accepted) basis. All booths are subject to the approval of the general committee of the festival. The booth committee reserves the right to place vendors as deemed necessary. Booths will be within a comfortable walking distance of each other. Booth Fee: $100 if postmarked by 09/28/12 plus a $50 refundable cleaning deposit; $150 plus a $50 refundable cleaning deposit if received after 10/05/12. Pre-Event Meeting: Approved food vendors are required to have a representative attend a mandatory meeting the morning of the event at 9:00 am at the judging tent or forfeit the right to participate. Setup Hours: 7:00 am to 8:30 am. Vendors may begin selling after they are setup regardless of the official opening time. Cars must enter from Central Ave for setup and be moved by 8:30 am. Event Hours: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Vendors must remain open until official closing time. Closing Time: 5:00 pm. No vehicle traffic will be allowed until the event closes.
