And The Energy Continued Through the Expo Hall
As the CPRS 2023 Connections Expo Hall opened at 12pm on Tuesday April 5 a wave of attendees flowed through the doors to be met by over 200 exhibitors from across the world, there to bring us up to date, on the latest trends and innovations from across the industry. It was a delight to see so many exhibitors both new and old in attendance and so many attendees taking joy in exploring the hall. The conference drew its biggest attendance since 2008, a remarkable achievement considering the drop in attendance experienced by all meetings over the last three years.
A total of 2,145 Park and Recreation Professionals from across California and beyond, took part in this year CPRS Connections, enjoying the excellent education sessions, expansive expo hall and the sights, sounds and tastes offered by the wonderful city of San Diego. In addition, we are thankful to the 735 exhibitor personnel who attended the show across the two days the hall was open. It was great to see so many connections established, and friendships restored. You could feel the enjoyment of being together again, throughout the San Diego Convention Center.
Continuing with tradition, the EXPO included the Silent Auction; 14 cities displaying award winning projects in the Best of the Best Area; a full schedule of presentations at University/Research row discussing projects and research that contribute to the development of the leisure, recreation and tourism profession, daily lunches, and the Expo Drawing.
