Today we conclude our series, reading stories of Jesus beginning his ministry and laying the groundwork, the basics of who he was and what he came to do, while we also think about our own community, Calvary Baptist Church, and five defining values of our congregation. Practicing  Your  Faith  during  Lent  WORSHIP  SERIES:  SPEAKING  OF  SIN.  On  March  5,  we  enter  Lent  and  venture  into  a  season  of  confession  and  introspection.   In  worship,  we  will  unearth  and  reexamine  some  language  ÂƒÂ„‘—– •‹Â? –Šƒ– ™‡ǯ† —•—ƒŽŽ› ’”‡ˆ‡” –‘ ‹‰Â?‘”‡Ǥ How  does  speaking  of  sin  help  us  get  real  about  relationship  with  God,  and  with  each  other?   Â

ASH  WEDNESDAY.   We  gather  for  a  time  of  reflection  and  the  imposition  of  ashes  on  Ash  Wednesday,  March  5.  Two  services  available:  noon  service  in  the  Sanctuary,  and  6:30  p.m.  service  in  the  Chapel.  At  12:30  p.m.,  following  the  noon  service,  Calvary  pastors  will  provide  imposition  of  ashes  to  passersby  on  the  street  outside  the  sanctuary.  Contact  Amy  Butler.   Â
