CALL TO WORSHIP

Trey Sullivan

This is the day the Lord has made. Let us give thanks: For our ancestors in the faith, who have made this day of gathering with God’s people a reality. For our sisters and brothers in the faith, who are journeying with us toward new mercies every morning. For our sisters and brothers in the faith, with whom we share the hope and the joy we know in Christ who lives among us. Let us live as faithful stewards of both past and promise, blessing the ancient story and celebrating the new day together. Let us worship God!

HYMN 33

How Great Thou Art / ¡Cuán grande es él!

We sing these four verses, alternating English and Spanish languages.

O STORE GUD

O Lord my God! When I in awesome wonder Consider all the worlds thy hands have made I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder Thy power throughout the universe displayed. Refrain: Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee How great thou art, how great thou art! Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee How great thou art, how great thou art! When through the woods and forest glades I wander And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur And hear the brook, and feel the gentle breeze. Refrain. Al recorrer los montes y los valles Y ver las bellas flores al pasar Al escuchar el canto de las aves Y el murmurar del claro manantial. Coro.

PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE

Rachel Johnson

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
